The company I am working for is called Quionne. It is a company that sells roller skis. It is relevantly new and we are supposed to get things rolling.
Now while there have been some ups and downs, I can whole heartedly say that it is a pleasant company to work for.
Especially the people that work there are just so nice and welcoming that It would be hard to think badly about it.
Now that we got the fundamentals down. Me and my friend (we work at the same company) start the day by waking up at around 7:am, do what we must do and go to the bus stop at 8:00am, that is really close in walking distance (takes about 5min).
Hop on the bus ride for 30min, change bus and ride for another 10min, then walk about another 10 min. So, we arrive at work 9:10am. If you have a car I would highly recommend since it is much faster than with a bus.
Now fair warning if you are taking the bus you should be alert that they do not drive carefully, I don’t mean it isn’t safe to take the bus, but at least from a Finnish perspective their driving style is much more whatever that is opposite to calm, and this goes for the entire city both cars and busses. So be swift and just try to find a seat before he takes off and you take a tumble down the bus.
Let’s just say I have had some close calls, however you get used to it quite fast.
