Our local sailing club held its annual regatta last week with evening races from Monday through Friday. Dad and I went down to the harbour the first three evenings of the week to catch some of the action on camera and we were all blessed with good winds, in particular the first two days. There were boats of all sizes from lasers and 29-ers to the mighty 14 m Taillevant, creating wind shadows for almost all of her competitors. We think sailors, sailmakers and boat designers among our friends will find many things of interest to study. For all other followers of our blog posts, enjoy the beauty of colours, action, background landscapes and evening skies.
