Alright... Let's just do this. I went Down Under and to NZ after India and spent around 2 months over there. Australia had been one of my life long dreams and my expectations were very high. When I came there I was like... Meh... But New Zealand was another story. I booked a flight when I was in Australia spontaneously and decided to see what NZ could offer instead for 2 weeks. Wow. It still remains one of my absolute favourite countries in the world. One thing NZ really has is beautiful nature. I heard Iceland resembles it a lot.
Although a super expensive destination if you're only planning on traveling there, many people decides to do a "Working Holiday Visa" which means you can stay there for one year - two if you do a certain amount of farm work - and you're able to work and travel freely. Quite a sweet deal but it just wasn't for me. I'm happy I decided to go home. I actually worked there for one day because I desperately needed extra money and it was one of the toughest days in my life, but they gave me 100 dollars in hand so... I wasn't complaining. Just paid my stupid skydiving photos though :-(
Whoever is reading and is planning on going to Queenstown, NZ - Do NOT forget to go to Fergburger. It still holds the title as the best burgers I've had in my life. I could literally go there only to eat those burgers.
