We touched down from the UK in to New Delhi on the 28th December. Straight away, we wanted to get out of there. I’m sure the city is beautiful but the pollution was too bad, we knew we couldn’t stay there! So we straight away booked a flight to Goa - we knew some friends were there & it was a safe bet.

We felt so relieved landing in Goa, it was so different. Palm trees and smiles and warmth everywhere. The landscape is so vast and so much to see and do. The beaches are beautiful but we took a Royal Enfield and rode around the bits tourists wouldn’t normally see - I really recommend doing this. We found beautiful waterfalls, super remote villages & beaches and riding on the deserted jungle roads is amazing!

We stayed in North Goa, Mandrem Beach for a few days and then headed South to Agonda Beach. The bars and restaurants here great, such a chilled vibe & happy welcoming people everywhere! Staying in a hut looking on to the beach is glorious, waking up every morning watching the tides roll in.

Hampi is next!
