Isabelle and I went ice skating last week, we had really fun!! I have missed being on the ice and it was one and a half year ago since I was in the ice rink where I practically lived for 15 years. I can´t even describe how much I miss it, I was so happy when I was back with Isabelle on the ice even if it was just for an hour.
Me and my mom baked "lussekatter" (Swedish Christmas Buns) last week. I love them, they taste so good! I´m eating two almost everyday haha. But it`s only Christmas ones a year so I think it´s okay to eat a lot of Christmas sweets + I did´t eat that many last year since I was in New York.
Here are some pictures from almost a year ago!!! It feels so weird that it has almost been a year since I walked around in New York City looking at Christmas lightning, Ice skating in Central Park and playing in the snow with my host kids. It feels like yesterday but it isn´t. I think it´s hard to explain time. I mean like why does the time go so fast when you are having fun but slow when you are waiting for the bus for example? I don´t know how many times my friends and I have talked about that. I have already been home for 2 1/2 months and it feels like 1 month. I wish I could just pause time sometimes or go back in time for a little while to experience the memories again. I would love to skate around on the ice in Central Park again on a snowy day.
