Today Ross and I went to Quality Italian located on 57th and 6th, although the entrance is on Sixth Avenue between 57th Street and 58th Street. They're known for their Chicken Parmigiana Pizza, so naturally, it was only a matter of time before Ross bit into one! We started with a Monkeybread appetizer that was UNBELIEVABLE! It comes with a honey butter (which Ross really seemed to enjoy). As for me, I got an Egg White Frittata with Fresh Vegetables. This dish usually comes with cheese but I asked the waiter to have mine without. It was delicious but one thing to note is that the pizza is $34USD per person at the table, even if not everyone is indulging!

Ross has started a new food blog on Instagram at @thebigappletizer where he features a range of delicious food from all over New York City. On Saturday we went to a restaurant on Mott Street called Hop Lee. He ordered a half duck and Pork and Shrimp Dumplings. I ordered Veggie Spring Rolls and Veggie Lo Mein. The spring rolls were HUGE!! Definitely, the best I've ever had.

Today I woke up to A LOT of snow, and a text from my boss saying we're closed! I went back to sleep, did some yoga, freshened up and made this video. I used Quaker Oats, which is not vegan unfortunately, with a half banana, ground cinnamon, Justin's peanut butter and some Himalayan Salt. It was so so delicious, and the perfect amount of food!

It's now 3pm and I'm about to head out for a coffee with a friend.

In regards to this blog, I have been, without a doubt, in every meaning of the word, a true slacker. Did I use enough commas for ya? I've been absent so-to-say for a few (good) reasons!

Ross and I spent Christmas, and the days leading up to it in Chicago! We decided on this trip only about a month prior and fully committed from the start. We found an amazing hotel, The Kimpton Gray located in what's called "The Loop".

We went on an amazing food tour, where we tried our first ever authentic slice of deep dish, from Gino's East. It was amazing, but not comparable to a New York slice!

Ross also got to try a famous beef sandwich from Al's, and Chicago dog from Max's, both of which I thought looked kind of nasty.

Then we headed to the Palmer Hotel for a delicious brownie!!

Our last stop on the food tour was Terzo Piano, the restaurant above the art museum, next to Millenium Park and the famous bean! Our guide, Blair, got us this amazing donut and a few cocktails!

We finished the tour off with a walk through the museum that ended at the infamous painting from Ferris Buehler's day off!

Here are some more pictures from that day! Enjoy! Xx

Rachel and I had some fun at work the other day, and took a few photos for the company Instagram, @sackowitzjewelers !

We have a lot of fun stuff over at the New York Jewelry Exchange at Bowery and Canal Street! If you find yourself in New York, be sure to come check us out! We're open from 10 am to 5 pm every day through Christmas.

Absolutely LOVE this ring! It's so simple and so cute. Can you tell it's winter time by my dry hands? Ah! Taking hand lotion recommendations! xo

Hope you're loving these pictures because they're so much fun to take! More to come!

Today before work, I went for a run down Madison Avenue and came across these amazing student works from SVA! My personal favorite is the paint dress, it's so effortlessly cool, and different than the others.

I took a mirror selfie of my outfit but it got deleted :(. I wore a sheer baby pink turtleneck from H&M and gray and black plaid skirt from Zara with black suede booties from Franco Sarto and baby pink socks that I've had for AGES! Unfortunately it was 50 degrees F (10 celsius) and I was freeezing on my walk to the metro.

Today was an interesting day for food, spinach omelette and toast for brekkie, guac and chips for lunch (Rach has a shrimp salad) and a veggie burger salad for dinner! YUM!

I wouldn't say I ate like a king today but it's nice to humble myself when Ross spoils me with 5 star dinners!

Today I woke up at around 9AM, got out of bed to do some research. I had a call with one of Ross’s coworkers that is going to help me find a job at 1PM and wanted to prepare. I went to our local coffee shop, Joe’s on Lexington Avenue and cashed in my free coffee (buy 10 get 1 free).

Then I went to the post office to retrieve a package that never got sent to our building, a cookbook from Action Bronson. Then I called my mom for any last minute advice she had to offer before I jumped on this call.

Our call went well and he assured me he’d be sending me a few introductory emails within the next few days. After we hung up, I did a new load of laundry, and cleaned the apartment.

Around 2:30PM I went for a walk down Lexington that ended with me entering Zara at 59th Street. I purchased a gorgeous multi colored/multi patterned dress, a plaid skirt and multi colored striped shirt. I am finally dabbling with color again and I love it!

Ross got home around 6PM and was very excited to open his present!
