gifted products by This works.
I was utterly excited when I found out that This works had gifted me their entire new skincare range. My friends and family know how much I appreciate and invest in everything that has to do with habits, routines, wellbeing, and self-care. However, I have to be honest and say that I haven´t put much effort in creating a proper morning skincare routine, but that was up until now. Keep reading and be introduced to the world of Morning Expert skin solutions.
Over the last couple of weeks I´ve been playing around with This works new skincare range: Morning Expert. There are five different products in this range, where three of them in particular have introduced me to a new of waking up well and allowing me to take on the world with healthy looking skin.
The three products that work really well for me are the following: The morning expert wake-up drops, the morning expert vitamin C power mask, and the morning expert multi acid pads.
The morning expert multi acid pads come in a size of 60 single pads, which are 100% cotton biodegradable. Specifically, the pads contain multi-fruit and Azelaic Acid which help counter morning breakouts and perk up your skin. In addition, they are supposed to reduce the appearance of blemishes, and also contain Vitamin B3 to brighten and Liquorice Root extract to help calm inflammation. I use one pad, and massage it onto my face. Depending on how good my night-time routine was the day before, I sometimes use two pads, to properly get rid of any leftover makeup.
Unfortunately, I don´t have a bathtub. But this didn´t stop me from finishing the the morning expert wake-up drops in less than a week. I used the drops during my (hot) morning shower by flicking the product directly into the water/along the walls. The oils blend perfectly with the damp, and I felt so refreshed from inhaling the oil blend. The wake-up drops contain a blend of 100% natural Peppermint, Lavandin, & Rosemary essential oils, which are really good for banishing fatigue (and also aided in soothing my hayfever symptoms).
The morning expert vitamin C power mask works as an exfoliating mask containing 10% Vitamin C and Jojoba (oil comes from the Jojoba plant which is high in antioxidants, Omega 6 and 9, Vitamin A, D, and E). After I´ve rinsed my face with water and pat my face dry with a clean towel, I massage the product onto my face with gentle movements, to activate the Vitamin C granules. I leave the mask on for up to 10 minutes, and go make myself a cup of tea. My skin always feels so soft after, and I definitely feel that it helps improve my dull morning skin.
After removing the power mask, I apply moisturiser as usual and do my makeup. These three products are my favourites from the morning expert range which I highly recommend. However, I chose not to write about the Hyaluronic serum and the open eyes cream as I felt that they didn´t do much for my skin/morning routine. I´m trying to keep it simple with as few products as possible, so naturally the products must then actually work.
