Last Sunday Nate turned 4 months! He's getting so biiiig. It doesn't feel like I have a newborn baby anymore, it just feels like I have a mini human now. Currently he's 7kg and 68cm tall. So he's getting pretty heavy to carry around haha. It's a bit sad that time is running away so fast but I do think I like this stage more than the newborn stage. Because now he's so aware of what's happening and you can be with him instead of only taking care of him, if you know what I mean. The only thing I miss about having a newborn is that Nate doesn't sleep on my chest anymore. :(
Sleep: Nate has some sort of routine now and he goes to sleep around 9PM after a long evening bath and some food. We get up around 8 in the morning but he still wakes up 2-3 times during the night to eat. I hope he'll soon start sleeping a bit more hours in a row so we can get some deep sleep because now I sleep for max. 3 hours in a row hehe... During the days he takes 3-4 naps 30-90 minutes each!
Food: Since he's 4 months old he finally gets to have some solid food wihuu! It's actually so much fun to feed him and let him try new things haha. Although let's just say we need to use the washing machine a lot...But I still breastfeed him as much as before so the solid food is just an extra snack he gets. Now he's finally eating a bit more regularly so it's around every 4th hour.
New skills: He can now turn himself from stomach to his back and aaalmost from his back to stomach but he still needs a little help. He's talking non stop and is making new noises every day. He loves to smile and laughs every now and then but he's veeeery careful with his laughs and only laughs like once every third day. Maybe we're just boring haha....
