Almost a month since I wrote last time
- and a lot has happened!

Today I’m on my way back to Denmark from amazing Phuket!
This is a choice I’ve made 100% myself to come “back home” and calm down, get some holiday (which isn’t a big part of the regular guidelife), to make sure that I appreciate the things I have and to take care of myself for some time.

When the time is for it I’ll probably go out for another short season (or two), but for now this is what’s best for ME.

The hardest part about all this is to realise that sometimes the hardest choice also might seem the easiest in others eyes - WHY?

I’m had the dream job working with a age group which gives you so much energy and makes you feel like you’re in a bubble of happiness all year around!
I had the best destination of the winter time in Thailand, with amazing people around me and an amazing nature as well!
(Oh god I’m gonna miss this so much!! The people I’ve met this season both in work and outside has made this a lot harder, I’ll miss you ♥️)

If I wanted to I could’ve had a summer destination and continued with all of this?!
(Which I don’t know where it would’ve been since I resigned before I got to know)

BUT!

To make sure that I can give everything in work I need to make sure that everything works 100% outside of work as well..

And that’s where it went wrong this time.

Now it’s time to make sure that I’ll see friends and family, enjoy having vacations and visit all of the people I’ve met the last 4 seasons working abroad!
Make sure to enjoy every day and get the tools to make it happen!

♥️ Love ♥️

“I’ll just give it a try”

All you need is some nice pictures and captions? Isn’t it?

I really don’t have any clue, but I know that I’m super happy that I’ve gotten so much constructive and positive feedback the last month where I’ve tried this “blogging” out!

I might not be the best or good at finding the time for the blogging but it means a lot that there’s so many kind souls out there who’s responding and reading it.

Thanks 🙏🏻

A week we went on a trip together (my team in Kamala) with our manager as a guide.
Phuket really has a lot to offer - a lot more than just nice beaches and good tanning opportunities.
Have a look at this video with a monkey on my head:

That’s probably one of the craziest things I’ve ever done! But also one of the reasons to believe that we are a lot closer to the nature than the way we act. If we all have a positive and calm way of handling the wild life it could be possible for it to sustain and remain in the wild - like this!
NOT in small cages captured all around the world.

Have a look at the rest of the day as well;

Phuket Town

Crepé by Crepé
Also in Phuket Town

I must say - SUCH a nice place!
Feels like a little nice café you could find in SOHO in London or back home in Copenhagen as well!

Big Buddha

I’m so surprised about how nice Thailand is!

Today our amazing manager Khun Johan brought the whole team on an amazing trip all around Phuket.
Johans passion is especially the South-Eastern of Asia, which he's been speaking about for around 7 hours today - lovely to listen all day to a person which has so much passion for his former job as a round-trip tour guide.

You'll get to know a lot more when I have the time to give an update, I just want to share one of the craziest things I've tried in my life:

So just FYI it’s wild monkeys in the nature 🐒

As it says in the caption I’ve had visit here for the last week!
Janni With whom I worked with this summer in Side and Line who worked in Sandy Bay are on a “backpack deluxe” through Thailand and Bali and made a stop here for a week.
Even though I’ve been sick we’ve still had loads of fun playing Ludo (which I of course won), and sleeping very close to each other 😂
Tomorrow morning it’s time to say goodbye again, but thank you so much for the visit!♥️

Time goes fast when you have a lot of fun!
Indeed it does and since everything is new and nice to explore the times goes so fast here. It’s actually already a month since I arrived here.
It’s such a different world here. The food, the culture, the weather - but one thing is the same; the guide-life.
The part where you’re missing home, friends, and family - the part where you love your job, your colleagues are your family, and every day of is spend on going to different new places to explore and experience the country/culture yourself.
So after a month we actually went to our neighbours in Sunwing Bangtao and enjoyed some company + a very nice beach! 🏖

Last stop on the excursion:

The movie "The Beach" made the island popular - a movie I've never seen but Leonardo DiCaprio is in it, and it should be worth it to watch it, according to the guides and the people who'd seen it.
It's definitely worth a visit - lots of nice pictures to get here (especially on the beach)
AND pictures including me goofing around in a tree..

Have a look at the pictures beneath and come visit me in Thailand!

Saturday Excursion with Thomas Cook NE (Spies, Tjäreborg & Ving) is definitely to recommend!
A big thanks to the amazing guides - and all of my nice friends from the team for making it a very nice trip.

Even if you want to visit the islands on your own I would definitely recommend it, it was so amazing. Such nice paradise islands!!

Moving on to next island on our excursion:
"Monkey Island"
This was a very quick stop just to watch the monkeys and get some nice shots with the camera I guess, but wow which creatures! Someone threw pineapple to them - so now I've seen monkeys jumping in the water from cliffs to get pineapple as well. Amazing creatures!

Viking Cave:
It's said that the vikings have been here. With paintings on the eastern southern walls of the cave of different boats, including what looks like a Scandinavian "Drakkar". Unfortunately we didn't get to go inside, they simply didn't allow new vikings in there ;)

Have a look at some of the nice pictures beneath:

As said earlier Saturday was a day off with an excursion - and it was fabulous!
It was amazing to discover a bit more of Thailands beautiful islands and to get a bit away from Kamala.
AND! Boat trips the whole day without any puke?! (Only doped on 3 seasick-pills)
So what can I tell about the trip? Way too much - so you'll get Bamboo Island today:
Bamboo Island was just amazing, really peaceful and just the sound of waves on the "non-tourist" side I discovered on my own. Such nice beaches and so nice just to relax and think about how great life is..

Have a look at the pictures beneath - and book your tickets to discover it yourself!
