Start: 216 lbs
Week 1: 206 lbs
Week 2: 205 lbs

Results: -11 lbs

Week 2 have not been that great. A few steps aside, some crackers and some snacks. Also my period week and with a huge loss last week it is what it is. I had hope on making it to 200 until New Years but 205 is better than 216 at least. My next goal is to make it down to 200 lbs. Then I am going to celebrate somehow. I am thinking about getting myself a power bracelet so I can see it every day.

Master Cleanse Detox

Hi, Sorry I haven't been keeping you updated. I have had some small cheats, a cracker here and there, some candy etc. They are really feeders at work. Gold medalist as Food Pushers.

I am still working on the book to help me think like a thin person. It goes well but still a lot is not really regarding to me as I do not eat yet. But I am doing every task as I was. I have thought about my plan and I think I will just keep the Master Cleanse all the way until 26 Jan as planned. But no errors now. No crackers, no sushi, no snacks, no wraps. Just plain Lemon Juice.

I haven't been eating a lot over Christmas and I am still on 205 lbs. That is a bit upsetting but I just work through it. Maybe I should not get on the scale until next weekend? I think I will try that. Just keep my diet strictly for the week and then see how I did. Maybe the huge number last week is hanging on and my body needed some time to catch up?

I still don't have any huge feelings of hunger but can for a short time feel some rumbling in my stomach, mostly late evening or morning time. The headache haven't been noticed in days and I do not feel weak or dizzy.

As of day 17 I will start to walk 2 hours a day 5 days a week also. I still have not decide which workout schedule I should follow. I kind of out that on the shelf with the elf after my fall.

At least I did not gain over Christmas and I have started to see permanent changes in my behavior so I really think The Beck Diet Solution is a great book. The Master Cleanse is just a detox and a kick start to have a break from old habits.

Master Cleanse Detox

Was super tired today too. I planned to take it easy with the lemon as my stomach is much better without it. So I am doing a 1 sandwich for breakfast and then water fast for the rest of the day until New years. I can't drink that much during work because of my foot. I can't runt to the toilet and back 100 times a day with a unwell foot.

I was a bit hungry last night going to bed and same this morning. But it passed away quickly. I have been drinking a lot of water today to make it go away so I hope it will help.

I had a sneak peak on the scale today and was fairly disappointed at the result. I think I have been doing good but it is only 1 lbs down in 4 days. That do not feel good at all. I have 5 lbs left in 3 days to make it to the new years goal. Pretty sure I won't make it. But I have all 2018 on me to get to it so no rush I am trying to tell myself.

What do you do to keep going when disappointed in the results?

The Beck Diet Solution

In today's chapter of Beck Diet Solution I got to read about hunger, desire and craving. I learned about the difference between them.

Hunger - You are really hungry and need food
Desire - You are not hungry but eat because it was tasty or it is served
Craving - A big desire of a particular kind of food

I got to monitor my hunger over a few couple of meals and write down in a scale of 0-10 how high my hunger was and how i felt before, during, after and 20 min after every meal.

My breakfast looked like this:
Before - 2 - pleased, small desire, empty, comfy
During - 2 - (1/2 sandwich) full, satisfied
After - 0 - (1 sandwich) overfull, gorged
20 min after - 0 - pleased, disgusted, overfull

I have been slacking of with reading my ARC so I need to start picking that up and make it happen. We are soon in 2 weeks and only have 6 weeks left and I need to make this work. I also need to start getting up earlier in the morning so I am ready when I start my new job next week. My plan is as you know to read the book and make the tasks before work each day.

I think I have a pretty good knowledge about my hunger, craving and just desire to eat to much. I just need to watch so I only eat when hungry and not by desire for food.

Master Cleanse Detox

I fell down a staircase yesterday and bruised my knee a bit but worse I hurt my left ankle. Like bad. This morning it was even worse and my foot started to turn blue so I had to go to the emergency room. They did some looking and a few X-rays. Nothing was broken luckily but I have thorn a ligament in the foot and need to take it easy for 2-4 months. No workout for me then.

Because I spent the entire morning in ER and then have been working I have not had time to do my tasks for today in the Beck Diet Solution. I will just do both tomorrow as I need o go to sleep now.

I was really craving some sandwich with liver pate after work but figure out I am probably not hungry, just thirsty as I have not been drinking as much today as the last couple of weeks. So while writing this I drank 1 L of water.

The Beck Diet Solution

The Beck Diet Solution is one of the best books I have own so far. As you know I love books about helping yourself etc but this is one of the best.

Day 10 was all about the goal. How you should not make a big goal but just a tiny one over and over again. 5 lbs at most. Then celebrate. Give yourself a treat when you have achieved the goals. It should not involve food treat, you are after all not a dog or a dolphin. One of her clients bought a bracelet and bought charms to it every time. I was thinking about it and looked at a Pandora bracelet but hell they are expensive. Any advise?

I need something that I can get like 14 of to reach my main goal. I can't really get 14 cats can I?

I want something that I can see all the time that will motivate me. Maybe I should go for the expensive bracelet anyway?

What have you used as a motivation?

Master Cleanse Detox

Soon 2 weeks have passed on master cleanse. I had a few off meals as you know but today was not one of them.

They bought us pizza at work today and had a lot of sweets etc but I did not take any. I stuck to my lemon mixture. Had a bit of a rumbling stomach around lunchtime and was a bit chilly in the morning but otherwise fine. No headache.

Had 1 extra L of water as I was a bit hungry on the evening too. Can't wait for these 4 next day to pass. I really hope for a 6 lbs loss.

I did not get to exercise this morning because I was so tired. And on my way home from work I twisted my ankle and feel down a stair so I have it in supporting dressing and put on a table up high for the evening. I hope it feels better tomorrow because today I can hardly put any weight on it. There goes my plan for working out this week.

The Beck Diet Solution

So Day 9 in Beck Diet Solution is pretty easy. You don't need to but you have to work out to lose weight and keep it off. Day 9 was all about how working out would help your health and weight loss. How you need to make time for it even if it is just a 5 min walk to begin with.

In your life you will have to different types of exercise - the planned one and the everyday one.

The Everyday Exercise
This is the type you do without planning it. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park in the end if the car park, walk instead of taking the bus or take 1-2 stops earlier than planned. Just to fit in some more exercise in your life.
Most of this do not need a change of clothes. It is just a more healthy way to get from A to B.

The Planned Exercise
This is the kind of exercise that you put in your calendar. You have planned to go to the gym, you have planned to do yoga at evenings etc. It can be small and it can be big.

When you are sitting on day 9 and doing your future workout routine be realistic. If you haven't been to a gym in years it is probably not the best to start with 2 hours a day 7 days a week.

My Workout Routine
Every day: 2 hours walk (to and from work)
3 days a week: Planned exercise.

I am thinking about getting the workout routine from Jelly Devote but have to think about it some more. She does have good references and the before and after on her Instagram is amazing but I can't find anyone that have posted some of her workouts or that have had it for a longer time and wasn't skinny before. But it would be good to have something to stick to and I do not need any machines etc for it. I give it until the weekend and then I decide.

As for today I did 1 hour brisk walk on the treadmill while I watched some Netflix. And tomorrow I am planning to do some minutes of jumping rope before work and then a walk after work. If I am going to start walking to work every day I need to start now so I don't show up dripping of sweat the first days.

Master Cleanse Detox

Day 9 went okay. It was Christmas Day and my work gave us a lot of candy and stuff so I ate a few bits and a bun with some turkey. It was a good turkey and just one bun made me feel full. I could usually eat 4 of those with cheese and chips with dip, snacks and drink 2 L of cola in one sitting before. Progress. Well done me!

My stomach is still upset and I am in my firth day of diarrhea (TMI I know). I might have to do with the sweets and stuff I have been eating too. I will not have any more for the rest of the week and hope it slows down a bit. I am also still on my period which can have something to do with it.

I am still very happy with my 10 lbs down and have high hope on making a 6 lbs down this week. If I make it I would start 2018 on under 200 lbs. Which would be amazing.

I have not had a huge hunger today but around lunch I felt it a bit. I have however been feeling really tired today. Not exhausted but sleepy. At my lunch I walked home and took a nap because I felt so tired.

The Beck Diet Solution

Yesterday was day 8 but as you know it was Christmas so I did not update my blog.

Day 8 is all bout making time in your schedule. Make time for workouts, make time for meal prep, make time for buying the right food etc. The most people need to cut back on something to make room for the necessary stuff you need to do to lose weight.

I spend hours and hours a day on watching Netflix. I can as a minimum take one hour of that a day to take a walk or do some meal preps. I have made a schedule for the next year on how a workday and a weekend will look. As I am changing work I am going to have a new job and new fixed hours so every day will look the same. I have also planned to buy some food on the 27th and make meal prep for a couple of weeks so I don't have to think about that the first weeks of my new job.

What can you cut out from your every day life to make time for changes?
