Happy new year!!
We are back and supposed to be "recharged" over the Christmas holiday, but the vacation went by too fast as usual. We both had the best time in DK and it´s so nice to come home to moms cooking, heat in the floors, quality time with your friends and family and of course to enjoy our favourite danish food! I (Michelle) decided to make a post with some insights to what I spent my vacation doing - Better late than never! I hope you enjoyed the vacation as much as I did!
Since last time.......
I went iceskating
I celebrated Christmas with my family
In Denmark we celebrate Christmas the 24th of December and in my family we have many traditions that includes to go ice skating if the weather allows it, go to church, watch the danish "Christmas calendar", eat an amazing meal, dance around the Christmas tree (It sounds wierd, but it´s a tradition to walk around the tree while singing) and then the presents
Had the best night out with my friends
It was so nice to be back and reunited with my girls and partying with them is never disappointing! Of course I couldn´t be a part from Chris many days, but luckily we live close to each other and are often just dropping by to say hi
Baked Christmas cookies and ate a lot (too much) food
Yes, I craved danish food since I came back to Barcelona in October so combining that craving with all the Christmas eating equals a food coma....
Went to see ballet in Aarhus
As some of you may know my sister and I danced for many years and a part of that was ballet. So this year we saw the Royal danish ballet perform the Nutcracker in Århus which was amazing!
Spend a lot of time with my family (and taking pics with our cute dog)
It´s not a secret that I love spending time with my family and especially being with my sister as we always do wierd stuff (that aren´t posted on IG :-))
Enjoyed the beautiful nature
I used to hate growing up in a small city out on the countryside, but when I come home from BCN I always realize how blessed I am and it feels like the nature is even more beautiful every time I come home.
Started 2018 the best way
This year I celebrated New years with two of my best friends and it really was the best company to welcome 2018! As you can see on some of the images we are always quite crazy (I decided to spare you for the worst images) but we always have so much fun together just the few of us and we always start a party as you can see with our innovative beerpong table. I hope you all had a great night!
Now back to reality and 2018
