Hej på er!

Den 17;e februari var det min födelsedag och eftersom det är corona så blev det inte en vanlig födelsedag 🎂. Istället för att folk kom och uppvakta en, så skickade folk istället hälsningar och presenter. Jag kommer att visa bilder på dom grejerna som jag har fått här nedan.

Förlåt för att jag inte har varit så aktiv här på bloggen men jag har haft fullt upp med skolan och jag har haft lite ångest också. Jag har börjat och samarbeta med ett företag som jag verkligen hoppas på att det kommer att gå bra med. Det har gått framåt och tillbaka väldigt mycket sen jag kom i kontakt med det här företaget. Anledningen till att jag har ångest när det kommer till det här företaget är för att vi fick en ganska dålig start. Men vi har ret ut det och det är den 25;e som dom verkligen kan bevisa för mig att dom kommer hålla sig till avtalet. Jag måste seriöst vara deras mest jobbigaste kund/influencer som dom någonsin ha varit i kontakt med. Men det är den 25:e februari som dom verkligen kan bevisa för mig om dom är seriösa. Annars så får jag helt enkelt exposa dom här på bloggen.
Så antingen blir det en bra recension här på bloggen eller så blir det drama.

February the 17th was my birthday and it was a very lovely day but because of Corona all the presents were sent to me instead by mail and they also sent me birthday cards. I will show you pictures of all the presents I’ve got from my family members.

I’m sorry that I haven’t been that active here on the blog. But I have been so busy with school and I’ve had horrible anxiety too. I have started a cooperation with a company that I really hope will go well with. It has gone back and forth since the start and we really started on the wrong foot. I’ve had anxiety since I’ve got in contact with them. But we have had a serious talk and it looks like we are now on the same page. But it is on the 25th this month that they really can prove to me that they are serious and will keep their part of the deal. If they don’t, I am going to have to expose them here on the blog. So maybe on the 25th it will come up a positive review or it will be drama.

If there is something I don’t like about this influencer thing is that I don’t like to be mean and give people/company a bad review. I hate being mean. I also don’t like drama and never will. I don’t like when things blows up and it will be the classic “he said, she said, they said,”

You guys who has followed me since the start knows that there aren’t any drama on my blog. And you know that I also don’t like to write about things that has no matter. And that I am also the classic “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all” kind of person.

I really hope that that won’t change on the 25th. That is why I have anxiety. Sorry for bringing this negativity up but I really needed to write my anxiety off a little bit.

Hello Everyone! 👋

Today I had a wonderful day, I was out all day with my husband and with my brother and my sister in law. It was very nice, we really did have a very nice day with a lot of skiing ⛷ and hot chocolate.

But the weather was ice cold. The sun was up and the snow was perfect for skiing but it was so cold. It was -10 C and now when I am looking at the temperature it is now -18 C. I can’t remember the last time it was this cold.

Then I went to the post office to get my package that I had ordered for These Wandering Roots. When I got home my dear hubby had made a wonderful dinner. Chicken with potatoes and with a lovely winesause.

The other day I finished my three essays that I had to rewrite for school. It’s great that it is finally is done. Now I don’t have to worry about it anymore.

I have also finished reading “The True Rudolph Valentino” by Baltasar Fernandez Cue.

I’m going to give you some info. The book is translated by Renato Floris. But miss Evelyn Zumaya has helped Renato Floris to make his translation more pure English. I don’t know how to explain it but she has helped with the text in the book.

I think that Renato and Evelyn have done a very good job AND the cover looks gorgeous!! 🥰👏👏

The book was written by Baltasar Fernandez Cue in Spanish. Rudolph Valentino wanted Baltasar to help him to write his own autobiography. Baltasar had then a lot of access to Rudys private life and professional life. Sadly Rudy died before the book was finished. I love that the book was written by a person who knew Rudy, so it means that it is written in first hand. I must say that I can’t believe why this book wasn’t translated in to English a long time ago. Because there is so much good information about Rudy in this book.

I think that Renato and Evelyn have done a good job with this book because the English in this book is very easy and pretty much everyone can read it. It’s not complicated, it is a very simple text that is easy to keep up with. I love that a lot. I love that Evelyn doesn’t use complicated words or make complicated/difficult sentences in her books. For example she calls a vase a vase and not “an item with flowers in it” like some other authors would do. And I think thats great. Her writing technique is very good!

To be totally honest I couldn’t put this book down! If you are a true Valentino fan, you have to get this book.

Anyway, I’m not going to say anything more because I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys. All I can say is I love the book. Please go and get it! You will not get disappointed.

I will give this book a five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating.

Today, I read a biography called Affairs Valentino and it is about the silent movie star Rudolph Valentino. Most of you know that I am a huge fan of his and when I found Evelyn Zumaya and Renato Floris podcast I got very exited. I was so happy and still am very happy that I have found more information about Rudy (Rudolph Valentino).

There are so many books out there about him where the autobiographer has not done any reaching. And it feels like that the only thing they have done is to read old gossip magazines. And they have bought it all and just put it together in a book without doing any research. And that is very sad.

The only biography that I have found good and useful is the biography Dark Lover that is written by Emily W Leider. In my mind she did a pretty good job.

Anyway let’s go back to Evelyn Zumaya. First when I listened to her podcast I got so exited and I knew that I just had to buy this book (Affairs Valentino). So I did, and it took me one hour to read it and when I was done my jaw literally dropped. There was so much good information about him (Rudy) that I had absolutely no idea about.

I tell you guys, miss Evelyn Zumaya has done a great job! She has worked hard to fill this book with facts, facts, facts and with research, research, research and of course with EVIDENCE.

This is what a real biographer should do and that is what Evelyn has managed to do with this book.

☑️ Do a lot of research 🧐

☑️ Come with a lot of facts.

☑️Evidence! A lot of evidence.

She has managed to do all three perfectly!

Also did you know that Evelyn has discovered the missing court records? That is amazing to me and I was so impressed to read about it in the book.

But there is one thing that I just can get out of my head. It is totally impossible to get it out of my head. This is something that I have thought about since forever. And I am happy that Evelyn does take this up in her book too. It was like she had read my mind. Haha

Rudy and his nephew Jean Valentino are very very alike when I look at pictures of them. And she says the same in the book and in her podcast. They are very alike! You can Google it and you can see for yourself.

These are the biggest questions in my head right now.

Was Rudy the real father to his nephew Jean Valentino? And why did Rudy try to adopt him? That is a mystery that I would LOVE to know. And also who is the mother?

Hopefully we will find out in the future. I really hope so.

I know that Jean Valentino has been dead since many years back and Rudy has been dead for almost 100 years. But it would be wonderful if it was possible to do a DNA test between these two men.

The next book down below was actually a biography book that Valentino worked on together with the Spanish writer Baltasar Fernandez Cue. This book was actually written and released only in Spanish. But now Renato Floris and Evelyn Zumaya have now translate it to English, so its going to be great to read it. ❤️😍🤗
