Yesterday Lorenz and I explored downtown of the little town of Angier. It's located 35/40 minutes from Raleigh out on the countryside. 10 minutes from Campbell. Here lives 5000 people.
First, we passed a thrift shop!! Real second hand in the middle of nowhere! For instance, we found a super cool Ralph Lauren jacket for 3 dollars.
We continued our walk and we passed "Angier Museum". Five ladies were inside and let us come in. They were looking at photographs from the 40s from Angier and they told us about Campbell when they were young in the 40-50s. Absolutely magical!
We continued our walk and found among other things a park with a nice pond and a new public sports/activity center. Very surprising.
We also found a Mexican Meat store. There are a lot of Hispanic people here.
Everyone looked at us from their cars when we walked by. Maybe because they're not used to see walking people, or maybe because we look different.
