Last fall tournament - EVER

This weekend we play in Wilmington, on green clay! This is our last tournament of the fall. Which means my last college fall tournament ever. I try to not think about that though and just enjoy it in the moment.
Welcome to a glimpse of my life. I am from Stockholm, Sweden but currently studying Art Management in Colorado, US, and playing D1 college tennis. I am also a freelance graphic designer - visit my professional website www.louregen.com ! Happy to have you hear :)

Since Wednesday Ana, Lea, Inma and I (and coach) have been at Wake Forest playing Individual ITA Regionals. I played quali for main draw, Ana played main draw and Lea and Inma played a B-draw. I made it to the quali final where I lost. Felt frustrated with myself because I felt that I could do much better if I only trusted myself. But then I got to play one more match today that I won, which felt good!! I was more agressive and it was definitely an improvement.
It’s hard to believe but the season is over. A few tear fell down my cheek when the match was over. We fell against the first seeded after winning the doubles point. I’m happy and proud over the team effort. I played well in my singles match and followed my game plan. My match didn’t get to finish before it was clinch though.
What a year it has been. A new absolutely amazing coach that has helped us becoming a family. We are proud to be Camels and we have developed like crazy this year. I can’t wait to get back at it one last time next year, my senior year.
