I recently picked up this palette from September Rose, which is a UK based indie brand. I actually bought it on a whim after 'window shopping' on the site (i.e. putting things in my cart and not intending to checkout) and then I saw that all their products were on a 35% off sale. I was originally planning to purchase the Slush II palette but I wasn't able to find many reviews on it and then I got drawn in by the shimmers in this one. The Slush palette usually retails for £24.99 but I got it for £16.25 (not including shipping). I thought I may as well pick it up, partly due to that the quality of my other more colourful shadows aren't the best, plus why not support an indie brand especially during this uncertain time.
Seeing as I'll be staying indoors more than I usually do I figured now's a good a time as any to push myself out of my comfort zone and get creative, so maybe you'll see some fun looks on here soon.
Swatches left to right: Cotton Candy, Strawberry, Pink Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, Sour Cherry

I like the colour story, although some shades seem a little repetitive, particularly in the pink and purple columns. So far though I really like the formula of these shadows, with the exception of Blue Raspberry which didn't pick up too well, I'm not sure if it's buildable as I haven't tried packing it on. So far that's the only dud for me, but I will come back with my final thoughts after using this palette.
Thanks for reading and stay safe!
