It's okej not to be okej all the time.
It's even okej to feel bad about yourself, even though you're trying to feel better.
You try to do whatever it takes to feel good again.
A new style.
A new hobby.
A new experience.
But no matter what it may be, make YOURSELF happy. It's important too.
Whenever I feel bad about myself, I force myself into a situation I don't wanna be in - because then I will challenge myself to accept what is.
I have to accept the situation.
Ex. When I feel bad about myself for a time, I force myself to wear nice clothes. I force myself into those sexy underwear, wear that thong or skinny dress/tight pants/etc... because then after a while (half a day or so) I feel a little bit better.
If you have body problems, self-esteem issues or in general have a hard time accepting yourself, remember it's okej to wash your laundry or do the dishes in high heels, vacuum in a dress, water your plants in cosplay, or go naked around the house.
Or perhaps do a spa-day: paint your face, take a shower/bath, hair treatment, foot bath, mani/pedi...
You're allowing yourself self-help treatment in a safe environment with items/clothing that make you happy and feel good.
And why shouldn't you look your best and feel good on your lower days?
You're awesome even then!
