We NEVER throw out anything in our home without a good reason to or of it's absolutely necessary.
Our small freezer got a bit cramped up with space, so I took out all the frozen down cheese blocks we've saved from the too small chunks from the breakfast table.
Then we grate it down and re-use it for cooking.
Perfect for gratings (gratänger), tacos or other!
And no need to go buying pre-grated cheese at the store, when you have free options at home.
Perfect simple money saver for sure, especially if you're just starting to ease up your budget and are thinking of your economy.
What do you do with leftover cheese blocks?
