The mosaics were astounding. Unfortunately, I couldn't take many pictures because it was moslty only candle light and even my phone needed to be protected from the humidity. The spa consisted of different rooms and there were many pools with varying temperatures.
I sipped on some mint tea while waiting for my massage. It felt a bit unreal to be alone so I was tip toeing around to see if there were any elves hidden around the corner!
After the massage I wanted a picture in this pool you see in the picture above. To my horror, the cold water ate up my toe and I thought for a second if I should just ditch the idea. Too cold!
I'm very stubborn though, so I decided to go into that pool and get a pic! What wouldn't one do for a picture? It did take a while to get used to the cold water, but I'm surprised of how refreshing it felt!
