During the weekend I decided to challenge myself by taking portraits of my friend Naomi. I did the makeup, hair, lighting and photography. This really expands my knowledge and understanding of not only the “taking photos” part, but also the different aspects you have to do when taking portrait photos. After we finished taking photos I uploaded them all onto my computer and I started to edit. I made her skin a bit more bronzed. For one of the photos I used a fringing effect to make it more interesting.

Here are a few photos from my Cambodia trip I did with my dad. We went to a village and just walked around taking photos. I used a black and white filter as it make it more dramatic.

So from now on I will upload photos and a description of the photos. I am mostly doing this for my CAS (something you have to do to earn your IB diploma) but also to share my work with people. This is not a ordinary blogger that only blog’s about their trips, food, cloths etc. I’m only going to post photos that I’m happy with and feel as if I want to share with people.

Those who know me well will know that I alway criticise my work, all from school work to photography. However, I find photography as a way for me to relax and get away from all the stress in school.

So this is was a brief introduction to my “new” blog and I hope you all will enjoy reading it, and maybe even get some inspiration.
