What qualities do you most appreciate in each other?
Josh: Honestly, Julia is one of the most supportive person I’ve ever met. I can honestly do what I want, knowing Julia will be right by my side.
Julia: When Josh always tries to make me feel better when I’m down. He’s like preaching and stuff and it really makes me feel appreciated and cared about. I love that. He makes me a better person.
How did you meet? How long have you been together?
Josh: She slid in my Dm’s and then we just kept talking from there!
Julia: He told me to slide into his dms to show off some “nice” pieces. Just kidding bae. Honestly he found me on this instagram site that regrammed me. So he liked all my pictures:)) I dont regret though even though I thought it was strange. But we met in real life in my hometown when he decided to come visiting me. That was also strange, but it felt right! We've also been together for over a year now.
How did you get to know each other?
Josh: Me and Julia got to know each other from facetiming each other every single day til we finally met in person.
Julia: He asked me to facetime and I got so nervous cause it was just a “wow what?” moment for me. I was really insecure about my english as well. But it was fun and we talked a lot from there. I was super shy!!
Who said “I love you first”? Tell us your love-story
What do you hate most about each other?
Josh: Julia is the most stubborn person I’ve ever met. Also she makes everything so complicated.
Julia: Your room is my moms nightmare. It’s-a-mess. Also how he always win most arguments.
What do you plan for the future? Are you moving in together? If you are what country?
Josh: I never try to plan anything, but I’d love to be anywhere with Julia.
Julia: We haven’t really planned anything, but we really wanna be together somehow. don’t know when or how, but it will work out for sure!
Are you guys having kids in the future?
Josh: I have no idea if we’ll even be together in two seconds. I don’t wanna curse our luck.
Julia: Hmmm. Same as Josh.
What do you guys parents think about you having a lover so far away?
Josh: My mom loves this annoying ass.
Julia: My mom haven’t met Josh, but she was negative. It’s better now though. Dad have lowkey met Josh, but he doesn’t know haha. Dad always answer Josh facetime calls on my macbook and it’s hillarious.
Where did you die your hair Julia? How much did it cost?
Julia: I actually died my hair in Oslo. You can get more information about them @hairdoslo on instagram via dm. The price is from 1900kr. The max price you can pay is 3250kr. Depends on your hair. If you want olaplex, it will cost you 450kr more which you should pay for. It's worth it and damage your hair less. They're super talentet and I'm without doubt going back to do my hair there.
Where do you get all your money to afford all the clothes, and how often do you buy new clothes. Will you sell your clothes in the future?? You guys are soo cute
Josh: I have a job working as a server, that’s mainly how I get my money, but other than that I try going to thrift stores and finding some sick vintage pieces to sell.
Julia: I work at Toysrus a lot. I do buy clothes kinda often, but I try to balance it as much as I can with saving money for the future and Josh. I do sell clothes on tise. Please do follow me!
Where do you buy clothes? Which store do you like to buy from? What’s your fav store?
Josh: I shop everywhere. (Thrift stores, online, boutiques, malls) no specific stores I shop from, but my favorites are thrift stores because you never know what you can find if you have the patience.
Julia: I shop everywhere too. But mostly on like online shops. I try to find online stores that aren’t that known in Norway. It varies so much. Depends on what I’m looking for. The thrift store concept here in Norway is not on the same level as in the USA.
How do you afford to travel to the US? Were your parents hesitant the first time you went to visit Josh? Why doesn't he visit you too? And when will you stop being long distance?
Julia: I'm so lucky I have a stable job as a part time employee. Without this job I would never have the oppertunity to travel. I mainly look at flight tickets from Norwegian cause they offer the cheapest flights to the USA. I promise you will be shocked on the price. They're vision is all about the oppertunity for everyone to experience travelling and it's so awesome! My parents were a little hesistant the first time especially my mom. She told me she did not want me to leave, but felt bad for me saying no. Josh had the guts to visit me first after two months and he is planning to come here this summer. I've been visiting him twice already. We don't exactly know when we will stop being in a long distance, but that's our goal. There's a lot both of us need to get done, like studying for example.
What’s the hardest with long distance relationship?
Josh: The hardest thing for me is not being able to be there for moments when you need a person. For example; when I’m sad, cute dates, anniversaries.
Julia: The time different. It would be so much easier if the time different were the same. I think the most emotional and hardest is when we have to say goodbye at the airport. When we fight and the time-different block us from making up immediately.
Are you guys vlogging when Josh comes to Norway?
Josh: I love vlogging honestly, so that’s a maybe. We’ll see! I don’t wanna promise and not end up doing it,
Julia: It would be fun! It’s so fun to look back at it. I want a compact camera though.
