Today has been a loooong day. My brain feels like it's about to explode with all the new information and faces. It's been fun, but it's been a lot. We started with breakfast at 8 this morning and let me tell you, it was a struggle. Pretty much everyone was hungover from the first party of the school year the night before and I had definitely not had enough sleep. Then the schedule went on all the way until six, seven in the evening with introductions to the student association, library, student cards and stuff like that. We also did a personality assessment which I'm really curious to get the results from. Now it's sleeping time though, because tomorrow is the first real day of school and I want to be a bit more fresh and awake than I was today. A bunch of people are going out and normally I am the last person to turn down a good party, but I need to survive this first week and there's stuff in the evenings pretty much every day. Anyway, gonna turn off the computer and get my beauty sleep now. So curious to see what the classes are like tomorrow! Time to get back to reality.

So today is the day! Vacation is over and it's time for a new chapter in life. I just moved in to campus and in a couple of hours there's a dinner for all the new students. So far everything is great. The room is a lot bigger than I expected and really light and nice. I just met my roommate quickly but she seems cool too. Can't wait to get this experience started for real now. It didn't really hit me that I'm starting school now until I picked up the course literature I had ordered. There's a lot of it haha... But I'm really looking forward to starting to learn and see what this is all about. I'm sure it will be great!

Today is my last day of vacation because as mentioned a million times or more, I am starting school tomorrow! The sun is shining like crazy and we still feel like we're slowly melting away but it's pretty great to finally get some proper summer weather. When we finally managed to get out of the bed this morning, me and Paul went to Java Eiland where I used to live to pick up my old bike. Then we biked in to the city and probably my favorite area, Jordaan. There we went to a brunch place I've written about before, called Gs. I had been dreaming of their chicken waffles all day but when we finally got there they had run out of chicken. I wasn't sad for too long, because the burger with pulled pork I had turned out to be almost as yummy. Now we're enjoying some beer on the balcony and tonight we're going to Utrecht for a bit for a goodbye party. Great day!
