Hi sweeties! We landed in the Maldives last night after flying from Langkawi to KL and from KL to Male. We arrived at the hotel late last night so everything was dark. We were greeted by a 2 m. long nurse shark at the pier, which was so fascinating! Then we were shown to our room (which is so cute and very natural and cosy), ordered some pizza and rather quickly went to bed. We woke up pretty early due to jetlag (this must be the perfect jet lag - love waking up early, rested and fresh) and went to have a look at the island. It's very small - it takes approximately 10 minutes to walk by the ocean all the way around it. Then we went and had breakfast. The breakfast at Asian hotels is always the best. I had the following freshly cut fruits every day: yellow passionfruit (my favourite since it's even more sour than the purple ones), mangosteen, watermelon, mango, dragonfruit, pineapple. I also had green tea, a latte and a scrambled eggs every morning. Love eating healthy when on vacay and this selection makes it pretty much impossible not to eat clean. The first day, we also went on our first snorkelling trip where we saw 17 black tip sharks (excluding multiple baby sharks), 1 white tip shark, two Hawksbill sea turtles and loads of different beautiful fish! Very excited about the rest of the week here in the Maldives, it's truly my favourite vacay destination on earth and I'm so happy to be back. Ready for a week of snorkelling, tanning, having good and healthy food and just relaxing!
Hi sweeties! Sorry for not blogging yesterday but we went on a boat trip most of the day and I didn’t have time to edit the pictures yet (although I’ve posted a few on my Instagram already). Anyway, today we’ve flown from Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur and now we’re on to our next adventure! I’m so excited about landing in the Maldives in a couple of hours! I really can’t wait! I’ve been there a couple of years ago and it is truly exquisite! Can’t wait to relax and tan in the sun, swim in the crystal clear salty ocean and hopefully do lots of fun activities. I think I’ll snorkel a lot and hopefully see some sharks, sting rays and turtles. And naturally take lots of pictures! I have new Nakd bikinis and brought so many cute dresses that I want to take some pictures in. So stay tuned for pictures from the catamaran trip in Langkawi and pics from the Maldives.
Hi there! So, I finally edited the pictures from when we went on a catamaran in Langkawi - and this is a part one post. I love sailing and find it really peaceful and fun - particularly when the wind is not too strong and when it's sunny. I just had to layer so much sunscreen for this boat trip since I was so pale at the time. I had only had two days of tanning, which is not anywhere near enough for me to gain some colour. Luckily, I'm a lot more tan now. Actually, I'm writing this from home, it's pretty late and I'm pretty sleepy, which means that I'm going to sleep soon. I'm wearing a new pink bikini from Nakd that has the most perfect pink colour and the colour of the ocean in these pictures is simply stunning.
