Merry Christmas from us! I'm spending the holidays back home with my Mum and little sister, which will be super cozy and just what I needed. The following days my Grandmother turns 80, so we're visiting my Dad and Grandparents, which will also be lovely. But today, I'm dressed in my onesie from The White Company (pictures coming up!) that I had a difficult time tracking down in London (I've been in all of the stores in London and Oxford now) and we're going to make lots of Christmas candy today. Tonight, we're celebrating a pretty traditional Danish Christmas with Christmas dinner followed by dancing around the Christmas tree and then opening all of the presents. I'm very excited about tonight! I think it's the most presents we've had under the tree since we were little kids. Now, I'm going to enjoy Christmas and spend time with my family. I hope you all get to spend time with your loved ones and I wish you a merry Christmas!
I've completely forgotten to show you some of the Christmas decorations in my apartment. I was a bit late installing the Christmas star lamps but thus far I have the Diptyque "Epices" Christmas candle and my Grandma also gave me some very pretty Christmas flowers (the pink poinsettia in a previous post) and this Red Lion Amaryllis, which is so beautiful and it really creates a Christmas vibe in my apartment. I can't believe tomorrow's Christmas Eve (yes, we celebrate Christmas on the 24th here in Scandinavia). I'm so excited to spend it at home with my family. Good night sweeties!
On one of our nights in London, we had dinner at Sushi Samba. I've never been there before but I've heard lots about it and seen it numerous times on IG, so we decided that we had better try it out. I was quite surprised when I stepped into the lift that took us to the 38th floor because it elevated super quickly along a glass wall. It felt a lot like being back in Bangkok on our way to a sky bar and it was actually pretty cool. Unfortunately, I do not remember all the names of what we ordered but we had wagyu dim sum, sushi and the best tempura shrimps I've ever had (and believe me, I've had plenty!). It was a truly cozy evening and it just got better because afterwards we went to Prince Edward Theatre to see the Aladdin musical. Love Disney musicals, they are so dreamy and it was ages since I last watched the movie, which meant that I didn't remember half of it. I was wearing a red lace dress from The Kooples during this perfect date night. Can't wait to go back to London, visit Sushi Samba again and just enjoy spending time with my love. Later, I'm going to spend time with my sister who is finally back home again as well as her friends, my boyfriend and my Mum. So excited! Plus, today was the last day of school this year. Now; a bit of vacay.
