I don't understand how it's already February? Please tell me I can't be the only one who's slightly anxious how fast the time goes by.. Oh well, I think February will be better than January! I've already had a good start of the month. I had an examination at university, which I passed, and I got the results back from the previous course which I also passed! I went out for a couple of drinks with two friends from university and yesterday I went to a 80's themed club with Cassie and her boyfriend. Let me tell you that clubbing to 80's was incredible, never thought it would be so much fun!

For the upcoming plans for February there's a few things that happens. My internship starts in two weeks and it's going to be fun to go back working with kids for the upcoming four weeks. Since I sadly don't have much time to work as a substitute teacher nowadays it's always fun to have the opportunity to "work" a bit through the internship (even though it's unpaid eh). Besides my internship, I have (for the first time ever) plans on Valentine's day, not a date or anything "love" related though. I'll attend the premiere of marvel's new movie Black Panther with two friend and I couldn't be more excited. I've been looking forward for this specific movie since T'challa made an appearance in Captain America: Civil War.

And that's my plans for the month. Hopefully will I watch at least two or three more movies at the cinema and do something spontaneous.

One of my dearest friends made an incredibly inspiring video about the new year, and the mindset she (and I) have decided to follow.

It's been six days since the new year began, and I couldn't be more excited for what 2018 will deliver. 2017 was a very, very strange year for me and to be honest, the last two months was one the worst periods I've ever gone through. Although, I got a pretty good start to 2018.

This year I've decided to not share my yearly goals nor my new years resolutions with more than three people. There's a few reason behind my decision. Mainly it's because I want to see how far I'll go by myself, without any pressure from anyone else more than myself. Since I've decided (or well I will try) to start writing more on my blog I have planned to make a list of my goals in the end of the year as a teeny tiny resume of the year.

Jumping from subject: looking at my life at the moment, I would say it's pretty okay. I want 2018 to be a year of positivities, happiness and personal growth. I know, it's only been six days, but I do feel happier and that I'm going somewhere. I'm going back to university on Monday, which means I'll be surrounded by some of the most amazing people in this world. I'll spend time with friend who I hold dear and people who values me, as well as I have quite a few movies to watch at the cinema this year.

2018 will be a good freaking year, and I'll do my very best to make it one hell of amazing year.

Music

Oh look I do know how to update my blog! It's been a while. I thought it was time to make a little update before the year ends, and what better way to look back at the year? But in this post I'll share a few songs that I associate my 2017 with... and pretty much the music I've been listening to the past twelve months.

I have to say it's been quite a interesting week. In six days I've managed to be sick during four days, and one of them I had to spend at university, which was quite an experience since it was my very first day, although it was only a day for information and signing the final papers. Moving on, I worked two days at one of my favorite schools, spent too much time swearing like crazy because my university id didn't want to cooperate, as well as I've had a complete failure to a night out with my friends.

I don't even know why everything is suppose to happen at once, but I'm glad it happened this week. Next week will be hectic as I can't even describe it, tomorrow I have my first "real" day at university. On Tuesday the activities for the newcomers starts and goes on until next Sunday.

As muchas I'm thrilled to start the new chapter in my life by going back to studying, I can't help to be slightly anxious and nervous. I've never been good with new "beginnings" or talking to new people... But I think I can do it!... although, maybe you could cross your fingers for me tomorrow, please?

Movies & Tv-Shows

"Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle." – Trailer description.

If you're looking for a new horror movie to watch, surprisingly enough, would recommend Annabelle: Creation! Especially if you disliked the first Annabelle movie. In the second movie they sure did step up their game and made the Annabelle movie that I've been waiting for since the first The Conjuring movie. What made me dislike the first movie was that they didn't make it on a "the conjuring level" of scary. In fact, I didn't find it scary at all more than when the pregnant lady fell in the beginning of the movie, and this comes from a person who hates dolls. The script for Annabelle: Creation was definitely better suited for a horror movie based on a demonic doll in my opinion. Dolls = kids, and they can be pretty frightening in horror movies.

Besides that the script was spot on, the actors was better than expected! Since the movie is centered around a group of orphan girls around the age of 9 to 16, you never know how the acting of child actors could be. Lulu Wilson and Talitha Bateman, who portrayed Linda and Janice, the two girls I would say was the main characters in the movie, did an excellent job! It wasn't too much, nor too little of acting.

I don't want to write too much about the movie, since I feel like you could easily ruin a good horror movie that way. Watch it, and see for yourself if it frightens you or not.
