Soon I'm going on vacation to the lovely island of Majorca and I thought it would be fun to show you what I'm going to bring there in terms of skincare products. I got a bunch of deluxe size samples from Cult beauty earlier this spring in their spring goody bag, and now I get a chance to use some of them (I was waiting for the perfect occasion, such as a trip). I’m also taking with me some of the products I currently use and which I know works for me.
Products shown in the picture: Verso Super Facial Serum, Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser, Alpha-H Liquid Gold, Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser, Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm, and Hannes Dóttir Seamasque. I haven’t used these products yet, so I’m going to cite what the Cult beauty site says. Later on, I could do some mini reviews of these products.
I got some samples when I made orders to Cosmetic Love and Jolse. Here's Jolse Blotting Paper, Missha Geumseol Guk Essence, and TonyMoly Bio EX Multi-cell Energy (essence). I'm not going to bring my essence I normally use, so these will do it. And the blotting papers will be handy when my face shines to much due to all the sunscreen I'm going to put on me.
Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser
Tata Harper products are 100 % natural and doesn’t contain any synthetic ingredients. According to Cult beauty this is a gentle cleanser that eliminates every last trace of makeup and dirt, it unclogs pores, clarifies and detoxifies without stripping. The cleanser contains fruit enzymes that exfoliates the skin. This would be the “ultimate ‘second-step’ cleanser” according to Cult beauty. The Purifying Cleanser is rated five stars on Cult beauty.
OmoroviczaThermal Cleansing Balm
According to Cult beauty the Thermal Cleansing Balm “is a nightly cleanser and super fast make up remover”. It contains natural extracts and minerals. The cleansing balm strengthens the skin barrier which I found interesting.
Hannes Dóttir Seamasque
A 100 % natural mask, which I found wonderful. A mask for tired and dull skin, it tightens and hydrates the skin. The mask also calms the skin, perfect to use after a long flight. I checked the ingredients list and it contains only six ingredients, one of my favorite masks contains almost five times more ingredients.
Verso Super Facial Serum
This is a serum that contains a 0.1% concentrated dose of Retinol 8 Complex. According to Cult beauty this serum “smooths the appearance of wrinkles, strengthen the skin barrier, reduce pigmentation and supply the skin with more much-needed energy and oxygen to refine and illuminate without irritating”. I’m so excited to try out this serum, and I think I’ll really love it.
Alpha-H Liquid Gold 24 Hour Moisture Repair Cream
This cream contains 24ct gold flakes, I’m going to love it. According to Cult beauty his is a rich and rejuvenating cream that stimulates “sluggish cells and actively ‘undoing’ signs of damage while maintaining moisture levels”.
Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cell Revitalise Night Moisturiser
This moisturizer contains many interesting ingredients and it’s said to provide “long-lasting hydration without clogging pores or exacerbating congestion”. This moisturizer is free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, PEGs, TEA and DEA. The best part is that this moisturizer is cruelty free.
I use these products every day and these products are Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil Moisture (cleansing oil), Missha All-around Safe Block Total Moisture Sun Gel SPF50+/PA+++ (sunscreen for face and body), Rose water (I use it as a toner), Missha Super Aqua Ultra Waterful Eye Treatment (eye cream). The key word for these products are moisture. I really like these products, and I'll do a separate post of my skincare routine where I tell more about these products.
I'm looking forward to try all the new products, and I have a feeling that I'll like all of them. Maybe I'll do another travel essential post showing the makeup I brought with me after my vacation.
