The Korean Bell of Friendship was a spot we found by chance, when I was searching for interesting places along the Pacific Coast Highway. It wasn’t really along the highway, but close enough to check it out. The place is very peaceful and beautiful, with a great outlook over the ocean and Long Beach Middle Harbor. We spend some time just taking in the scenery and snapping some tourist pics (that’s what you do on a road trip, right?) before we drove off to the next stop.
We drove through the less charming parts of the Long Beach Harbor, with factories, gas stations for trucks and strip joints for the sailors and truckers, and on to our last stop; Newport Beach for a nice dinner. I will write more bout that in another post!
