GORGEOUS HAIR WITH AIRWRAP STYLER- DYSON

      /IN COLLABORATION WITH DYSON

      GAMBITSKY DYSON AIRWRAP

      What is the Airwrap Styler?
The Airwrap Styler is a revolutionary tool that curls, straightness, blow dries and creates beachy waves with airstyling which causes no extreme heat damages to the hair.
The benefits are that this tool attracts and wraps the hair - using only air and it styles and dries at the same time.

      The Airwrap styles comes with:

      • 1,2 inch barrel which creates voluminous curls and waves.
      • 1,2 Inch 30 mm barrel for voluminous curls and longer hair.
      • 1,6 inch barrel which creates loose curls.
      • Firm smoothing brush which smooths and controls frizz prone hair.
      • Soft smoothing brush that smoothly aligns fine hair.
      • Round volumizing hair brush to volumize and blow dry flat hair.
      • Pre-styling dryer which takes the hair from wet to damp.
      • Dyson Airwrap Base.
      • Storage Case.

      The experience

Working with many different brands within heat tools has given me the chance to try different tools and create an experience with different hair styles that I do, whether it is curls, straight hair, blow dry or a hairdo.

The Dyson Airwrap has been really a game changer for me. First of all, I have treated bleached hair, as you might know I play with my hair color and style quite a lot, the reason why I name this it's because the amount of damage I have on my hair and how this tool already has become a favorite of mine.

I’ve never been able to get my hair to hold any sort of curl more than one day since I have quite a lot of hair and it gets really heavy which makes the hairstyle pretty much disappear at the end of the day. That doesn't mean it's completely bad, BUT It means that I still have to use heat the day after to curl my hair once again which means heat damage and deteriorated hair color.

I have done a blow dry and curled my hair so far and pretty much whatever shape my hair dries in, it’s locked into until it gets wet again.

      • Styling with the Airwrap you'll start with either wet hair och towel dry hair depending of what style you are going for- For curls I started with wet hair , and the volume spray from Ouai (which I use all the time otherwise) in the roots and dried it a little bit with the Pre-styling tool, After doing this I attach the 30 mm, 1,2 inch barrel.
Selecting medium power and high heat to let the airflow to curl, and ending with a cool shot to set the style.

In my opinion this tool is perfect! You get beautiful bouncy curls or a smooth blow dry, in less time than it would take to dry and curl your hair before with other tools - and it lasts 3 days instead of falling out after a couple of hours; which means less heat damage to your hair.
The tool is much lighter than it looks, and quieter than my normal blow dryer.

In my experience there is a learning curve because it's a completely new way of doing your hair, but after the second or third use you'll know how to use the barrels which shoot the air in 2 different directions (clockwise and anticlockwise for symmetrical curls) and how to create the perfect hairstyle for your upcoming days.
Keep experimenting with it, because there are so many ways to style the hair with the Airwrap.

Is this tool really a game changer?

Depending of what your needs are!
But in my opinion it absolutely is- Why? Well- If you are like me, a person who enjoys styling your hair often and praying to not damage your hair is already a game changer. Specially if you have treated, tired bleached hair.
The hair routine takes less time, this tool leave really natural and shine results and it gives an amazing volume which is a big plus to achieve at home and once again less heat damage.
If you hair is treated this tool will make your visits to your hairdresser less which will save you money in the long run.

Hope you enjoyed this little review!
      Have a lovely day <3

      XOXO , Camila Andrea.

      SUN CARE FOR HAIR.

I still remember almost perfectly the first time I wanted to dye my hair. I had fifteen years old and my mom didn’t allow me to go through the process of dyeing it “because you’ll regret it later”, she said. On that moment and because I was a very immature teenager, I got pretty mad at the whole situation.
I couldn’t understand how dyes and chemicals could torture your hair no matter how thick, strong and healthy it is, and even though my genes have been pretty generous to me, I still have to deal with some damaged caused by styling tools and highlights and the sun during the spring and winter time.

This is when I got introduced to Kerastase Soleil , a line of hair products made to take care of damaged hair and helps to nourish the hair while protecting against the drying effects of the sun, chlorine and salt water.

The coconut water and babassu oil are ingredientes known for their hair performing qualities, it revives parched hair, damaged by heat, dyes and the environment. The formula is made to suit all hair types and you’ll find it will hydrate yours without losing volume, leaving you with silky soft, amazing hair.

My favorite part about the whole serie is the mask; it's so easy is to apply, which can be during your shower routine in 10 minutes or as a rinse-off mask in 20 minutes. Because my scalp is somewhat oily, I concentrate mainly from the middle to the end, so the mask treats my split ends while taming the frizz perfectly, leaving my hair silky for three days between washes with no need of applying more product.

      XOXO , Camila Andrea.
