We spent the weekend with my fantastic sister-in-law and her partner. I landed late Friday evening in Ljubljana and was dropped by my driver outside the door thirty minutes to midnight. The house was lit up and looked warm and welcoming, the trio had been cooking and still ate when I arrived, so it was just to pour up a glass of wine and join the conversation.
The kids had already fallen asleep comfortably to humming soft voices twirling up from downstairs.

The rest of the time they helped us assemble shelves and take care of the kids... and the kids loved their company. Rocco told me afterwards, it’s funny with C and N because they are grown ups but they can play like children. It is wonderful to see how your own children build relationships to other persons, consider them and care about them.
