HUNGARIAN PARLIAMENT HOW TO DRESS IN BUDAPEST

Hello! Visiting European capitals over the long weekends has almost become a new tradition to us. This time it landed on a beautiful city Budapest in Hungary! I was shocked and overwhelmed with the beauty of this city. Architecture and the monumental buildings I’ve came across in the city has left me with feelings that I must of come back there soon, perhaps in the summer when it’s a bit warmer and nicer. Despite looking at the photos and seeing clear blue skies it was freezing cold, yet very pleasant. Usually this time of the year it’s snowing in Budapest all month long and I was super happy that we had such fantastic days.

We stayed right in the city centre and because of the hotel location we had no need to use public transport and literally walked through the whole city which I always find more adventurous and more interesting.

Location of the shoot : Hungarian Parliament.

This colossal and magnificent building was our must to shoot at! Brilliant architecture and the location by the river. The central area of the city along the Danube river is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has many noticeable monuments and one of them is the Hungarian Parliament.

Going into Zara stores and not picking up total looks by Zara is a hell of a challenge.

For that day I picked up pieces from Zara Woman collection from top to the bottom. Leather shoes with low heel a’la famous J’adior that every fashionista is currently wearing was my choice for this look. Oversized trousers in bronze with the gold accents buttons on the side and red strap which makes totally elegant trousers a bit sporty. White shirt as a instrumental classic and a long coat in this beautiful patter to complete the look. Simple yet very elegant which just fits perfectly the stunning shooting location. I wouldn’t be myself if I ever travelled without my bracelet stacks and watches! I always take my favourite pieces with me and this time I took the valentines collection from Annie Haak and DW 28mm watch in gold.

Celine sunglasses in similar colour to match the total look.

What are your thoughts about this look? Is it a Budapest worthy one?

Also, have you ever visited Budapest? If not, get your tickets booked and travel right now! It’s such a beautiful city.

Love x
