Hey loves! x

A lot has happened in the past few days so here's a proper catch up of what I have been up to! On Tuesday we went to to this event called "Pure London", it is mostly targeted for people working in fashion (buyers, merchandisers etc..) to look for inspiration and new ideas. But as we are students we also got access to this event and it was a nice experience! After the event we went for a lunch and ate super delicious indian food ♥︎. If you are in west London near Olympia - check a place called Miran Masala (you won't be disappointed!).

Later that afternoon we also went to Holland Park and took a couple of pictures, it was a rainy day so it was a bit (a lot..) muddy but anyway it was nice to get some fresh air and see some cute little doggies running around haha.

And as some of you might know, the London Fashion Week starts tomorrow and I got a job as a backstage dresser/ assistant!! Aah I'm super excited, hope everything goes well!

That's all for now, I'll try to catch up with you asap, but I also have two reports coming up in the next two weeks so I have a lot of work to do... But I'll try my best!

Ciaooo!

I know it's been over a month since I've last written anything... This break was not planned but I've been just so busy and on the free time that I had I just wanted to relax and not to think any responsibilities or blogging etc. But now I'm back!

This weekend two of my best friends from Finland came to visit me and we had so much fun! We ate good food, strolled around the city, went to a museum and did a little bit of shopping. Overall a weekend well spent! These pictures are from our dinner on Saturday night. The food was ok, nothing too special. I have some more pictures from our weekend (mainly food pics haha) so stay tuned for later posts!

♥︎ 1 Banana, 1 Egg, a bit of oats & a teaspoon of baking powder ♥︎

This is probably the easiest pancake recipe you could ever imagine, definitely can't go wrong with this! Mix the ingredients, heath a pan and use butter for frying. You can make approx. two pancakes with this recipe. A perfect choice when you want to have something delicious but healthy. You can top the pancakes with fresh berries, (blueberries are my fav!) greek yoghurt and honey. This combination will never fail!

Bon appetite! ♥︎

Today I had a bad day.

I wasn't really feeling myself and that is mostly because of the stress about uni work and deadlines is enormous. Not to even talk about the internship/ part time job I have to manage to get for the next semester. The same thing happened last year around Christmas and now it is happening again. I'm exhausted and would love to spent every minute of the day sleeping and never leaving my bed. During those times when I'm stressed I eat a lot. And that makes me feel even worse about myself. And of course that stresses me even more. Endless cycle of stress, which feel likes it never ends.

And the first step is to recognize that something needs to change.

I'm nowhere near about being 100% happy with myself, but probably no one is. What you can do is live in a moment and appreciate yourself about all of the things you have achieved. Then you are one step closer achieving self-love. To me as for everyone else, self-love may mean different things. For me it means being happy with yourself and giving time for yourself, developing your skills and being ambitious towards your goals in life. In a nutshell, being productive and working hard but also knowing how to give yourself some time to relax.

Happiness and positivity are also two very important words to me. Being happy and positive about life gives you so much more than you could ever imagine. And when I'm feeling stressed, I try to think of some things that makes me feel happy and grateful. I have noticed that balanced diet and exercise makes a huge difference on how you feel inside, so that is no wonder that when I'm stressed and my eating habits aren't that good, I feel bad inside and out.

So to summarize these Sunday thoughts, what I meant to say is live in a moment, appreciate every day, smile(!!!) and take care of yourself in all aspects of balanced diet to relaxing movie nights. Most of all give time for yourself and remember everything doesn't need to be perfect.

beauty favs

Some of my favourites... x

These facial beauty products are my all time favourites. I would like to give a special mention to the Clarins BB-cream as it makes my skin feel and look so smooth and also Nars blush in a shade orgasm which is definitely worth the hype!

What are your favourite beauty products or do you have any same favourites as I do?

Yesterday we did some Christmas shopping with my friends. I managed to get almost every gift, but I still have a little bit of shopping to do. I always stress a lot what comes to the Christmas shopping, and I just don't know how to stop it. Even though I plan and write down what I 'm planning to buy, the stress still catches me. I love to put a lot of effort into every single gift I buy and maybe thats why I'm so stressed, because I know I need to get something perfect. Of course I know that the most important part is the though of giving and everything doesn't need to perfect, but I just want to. The struggle is real so to speak. But now when I'm almost done with my shopping, I feel a bit more relieved!

Ps. I must say that doing Christmas shopping in London on Saturday is the last thing you wanna do. Too many people and literally no space of your own. haha

Have you already done your Christmas shopping or still stressing about what to get?

Lunch @ Granger & Co

If you are looking for a Instagram-friendly lunch place, this is the place to go (with actually tasty food). Granger & Co has various locations all over London, but I've only been in the one in Notting Hill for a couple of times. Tasty, healthy food with a various range of different options, I'm sure that everyone will find something they like from their menu. So keep this spot in mind for the next time when you are on a hunt for a place to go and have an amazing lunch!

Jumper H&M // Leggins Lululemon // Sneakers Converse \\ Leather jacket Lindex \\ Bag Bershka

Comfy outfits ♥︎

This outfit is a perfect example of my go-to outfit. Cozy, a bit oversized jumper, lululemon leggins and a pair of sneakers. This outfit works every single time when I'm off to a 9am lecture or just going to have a chilled lunch and shopping with a friend. I must say I'm guilty to wear this a bit too often, but what can I say - I just love cozy outfits. Of course when there is a special occasion or when I'm going out with friends I love to dress up, but in the middle of week when days are filled up just going to uni and studying, you really don't care what you are wearing, it just have to be comfortable.

Mulled wine, churros, live music... What a wonderful place! We went to check out the Winter Wonderland today after uni, and I'm so glad we did! Even though it was super chilly, the nigh was perfect. We are planning to do a re-visit before everyone is going back home for Christmas, I'm so excited!
