We decided today what play we are going to do next in theatre, namely, bedtime stories. I already know what characters I’m going to play because there is one princess in the play who can’t speak English well, and I am the only female exchange student in advanced theatre. I presented my language project in today’s Spanish class. I was a bit worried beforehand because I didn’t know if my teacher would accept my presentation since I did it in quite a different way, but he said that he liked my way of doing it.
We had a football game against sunrise mountain who we should have beaten easily. We had a lead with 12 points until the end when they did two touchdowns and scored an extra point. Both of our best corners could not come to the game so the coach had to sub them out. I got to play once in the forth quarter and I didn’t do well at all. I was so disappointed at myself for ruining my change to show the coach that I could contribute to the team. But I have now come to terms with the fact that football isn’t a sport for me and I don’t know if I’m going to attend any more games or just find another hobby.
I met Donna’s sister after the game. She was here to get some help from Donna to make Christmas present of stones she found on a beach in Mexico. She had her two grandchildren with her who “helped” too.
