This post with lots of updates on my life will be in English so more people can understand it. Almost everyone in Sweden knows English so my Swedish followers will understand it.
So my last post was in October 2016. Well that was a while ago and a lot have happend during spring.
1. I left university due to my illness and I don't think I will continue with them.
2. I did my first dressage competition with Shiba in end of April.
3. I had the dreaded surgery 9th of May and spent most of this summer recovering at my parents home.
4. Explosive will have a foal in 2018 (hopefully)
5. I'm job hunting.
So if we start with the first topic, my studies. Well to study full time with a painful decease was probably a bad idea to begin with, and when I was on a handfull of medicines my brain was like running in syrup. I took a break from my studies due to bad results and an upcoming surgery. Technically I can fix my grades and go back to school next spring but I lack motivation right now and I have like 5 examinations to fix + some rest assignments. Well if I can't find a job I guess school is an option but well time will tell.
A more fun topic is Shibas progress and in end of April we did our first competition together. She have also done a few starts with Elsa and we now work hard to improve the results in future competition. Next on the schedule is a LB:3 class 3/9 at our home club. Wish us luck!
Next on the list is a long one and I will write a seperate post with before and after photos later. I went to Uppsala 9th of May and had my surgery done for my skeleton decease Fibrous Dysplasia. They removed a lot of bone around my left eye and some on the upper left of my face. The recovery have been good and I'm still healing and will continue doing so for many months. The results are less pain but not 100 % painfree so I will continue with Aclasta to keep the remaining ill bones under control. I'm currently of pain medicines to analyze the result but I may go back on some lower dosage to be able to live 100 %. I will write more about the progress in the future. Life is hard but not impossible!
More fun horse news is that Explosive is pregnant and will if everything go well become a mother summer 2018. The father is Quevert and he is so beautiful!
The last thing on my little list is that I'm hunting for a new job. My old job was low on workload so now I try to find a new one. I can finally work full time and I'm longing back to working!
Well I think that sums up my spring/summer. If you want me to write about something special just let me know in the comments!
Have a wonderful day my friends!
