Michael Terence Publishing doesn't edit any manuscripts. That's why their books are ready so fast and why they can offer more royalties than other publishing houses. But it's a pity Karolina Robinson chose MTP as her publisher because "...all five..." is a book that could be good if only she got an editor to help her smooth over the style. English is not the author's first language, and it shows on every other page.
I won "...all five..." as a giveaway on booklikes. It's a fast read: 144 pages of quite a big print. The backside blurb, it turns out, gives away too much of the story. On the other hand, it leaves out one crucial little detail: Dorian and Iva are lovers, but they are also brother and sister. With this background, the pregnancy scare on the first fifty pages could make for quite some tension if the blurb didn't spoil it all by letting us know that it's not a baby, it's cancer.
