Hello and Happy February! I'm gonna make this quick introduction since this post might not be for everyone. I discuss energy, the law of attraction, spiritual growth and God. If those aren't your topics then do not worry! I will post about other topics soon as well! Have a great day! 🔮💫☕
I belong to many social media groups about spirituality, horoscopes, tarot, religion etc. These people have created a way to grow together and support eachother on their spiritual journeys. Yet, even the spiritual community has been struck by powerful ego energies lately. Suddenly a certain lifepath number or a certain zodiac sign determines your worth and gives you a certain status when they really should be used to understand oneself better. I use these things to guide myself, to help me with my inner work but also as a way to understand others around me better. But if I always state my personality with the help of horoscopes or numerology am I then blocking my own growth? It's easy to say "yeah I'm a typical leo" and stop evolving. But life is all about growing and learning. The thing is that our ego likes instant gratification. But spirituality doesn't.
I'm a leo sun and I can confidently say that I've felt a certain pride in being a leo but why is that so? Leos can be the worst sometimes and I find myself thinking "why do I need to be this way, so stubborn and forceful to get my opinion across no matter what!". I annoy myself a lot but I'm also my own bestfriend. Therefore, I feel comfortable with even my own negative traits. Which I can tell I have not always been so sure and happy about. My ego got in the way and I felt ashamed for not being good at everything and that is exactly what is happening in the spiritual community right now. Instead of doing the shadow work within people say things like "I'm a lifepath 11" or "I'm fine with my life being dark and all, I am a Scorpio". Yes you are these things but you are also you. Your body is in your spirit and not the other way round. Your spirit surrounds you all the time. Therefore you must make sure to feed your spirit with a positive flow of energy.
We should not use our spiritual knowledge as a status symbol because spirituality is a process. Not everyone is going to be at the same place at the same time when it comes to spirituality. There will be a time when you feel lost and there will be a time when you feel like you know everything there is to be known about spirituality, but then suddenly you realise that you've found yourself again and begin to understand how true it really is that you, in fact know nothing yet. Therefore, we must respect the process each of us go through and most importantly, do not block the energy of others by saying that they aren't on the right path or have calculated their life path number wrong, let them learn and explore just like you've done all your life! You are energy. No matter how advanced you feel on your journey remember that if you don't let others shine you really aren't that far on your own journey.
I remember talking to God when I was 7. I felt like I had a powerful connection, God was with me all the time. I made sure to thank him for each day, I stayed grateful. But when I got older and experienced some negativity in my environment I started to question my faith. Where was God then when I felt like I needed him the most? But God was all around. He showed me how to stay positive by showing me what to read, what to see and what to listen to in order to get a higher vibration. God gave me strength, inner strength because he talked and I would listen. When I was around 10-11 I found Jesus. Jesus became my number 1 rolemodel. I started reading and learning more about his life and every Easter I felt his pain. Jesus has been with me ever since. I choose this journey. Nobody in my family or environment forced me into it. And many times I have felt lost in my faith and just as many times I have found it again. No matter what you believe in or in what way you believe let it be your own choice to do so. Don't force it if it doesn't feel right and most importantly don't push away others who have chosen a different path. No matter what religion you have they all operate with love.
So the question remains without the personality quiz, without your
horoscope, who are you?
