Soooo after a few hours (and days, and tears, and sweat, and calls, and googling) IT'S LIVE! My very own platform 💙 I'm so proud of doing this myself. So please go and see it!! And pleeeeease If you have any thoughts on how I can improve it, let me know. Thanks Nouw for this time, but it's time to move on!
Made a bag the other day, that I'm planning to use as a beach bag. It took A LOT longer then I expected, hehe. But was a fun and harmonizing project so I didn't mind :) I wanted to have a BIG beach bag, since I tend to pack my whole life when going to the beach. Well, not really but towels, one or two books, Yatzy, different sunscreens, bikinis and so on.
Is was pretty easy making this one. I just crocheted (you can find here how to crochet) as big I wanted the bag to be, and then crocheted the corners together, then turned it inside out, and TADA! Crocheted the handles as well.
BUT NOW TO THE PROBLEM... It smells so bad! It's made out of hemp and apparently Its smells a lot... Yesterday I tried to wash it, but it didn't help, it actually smells even MORE now. If you have any ideas how to get rid of the smell, please help a sister out!
I've started to cook a lot of vegetarian dishes lately. This one is one of my favorite! As you probably have noticed I like when these (everyday meals) take a maximum of 30 minutes to make. During the weekends I don't have any problems with spending a lot of time cooking, but somehow I find it to be boring during the week. I just want it over with! Anyway, here we go:
Halloumi in a tomato sauce
- 400 g of halloumi
- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 tbsp of tomato paste
- 400 g crushed tomatoes with chili
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of whipped cream
- Salt and pepper
Boil the rice.
Dice the halloumi and fry it in a pan, add onion, garlic and tomato paste. Fry it for a couple of minutes.
Add crushed tomatoes, water, cream. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes, and add salt and pepper
Eat and ENJOY! I also added some parsley on top, but that's mostly for the picture ;)
