Hey everyone! Last weekend I made a trip with some friends to the ice castles in New Hampshire. We drove together with the car for a few hours. Normally it would only take two and a half hours from Boston, but we made some stops on the way up. From the outside it wasn't so big like I expected, but when we went in to the ice castles it was breathtaking. Everywhere were icicles, big ice walls and it was much more cooler than outside. The colors were so bright and it had also a shiny blue color, it was amazing! The ice castles was really big from the inside, you wouldn't expect it from the outside. In the middle of it was a Fontaine and everything seemed so peaceful. You could take a lot of nice pictures because the light was just perfect. They had a few sledding tunnels, what was so much fun. When the sun goes down the ice changes its color which is really beautiful. We couldn't see it because our friends had earlier tickets and we wanted to go all together. I have never seen such a beautiful place before.
If you have time to visit the ice castles, I would really recommend it.
