Waterproof bags are essential when living in New Zealand. Rains minimalist style caught my eye in a boutique store in Parnell, Auckland. Rains is a contemporary rainwear lifestyle brand creating waterproof designs for the global citizen. Influenced by its Scandinavian heritage, Rains practices an uncompromising approach to simplicity that is as equally rooted in functionality as it is in relevance. Rains is of the opinion that proper rainwear need not come at the cost of considered design. Rather, Rains apparel, bags, and accessories are designed to withstand the stormiest of weather, all while speaking to the current tendencies of today.

Below are a few of my favourites. Tap the photos and the link will take you to the bag. If a piece catches your eye use the code BRIDGETAUG18 for 10% off. Luggage.co.nz offer free shipping on all orders.

Good afternoon honeys!

The rain is pouring down and I’ve just made myself a cup of lemon lime tea. After a long day at uni, sitting down and chatting to you over a cup of tea is something I always look forward to. So today I wanted to share with you my latest pair of Tom Ford sunglasses. If you’ve been following me for awhile you’ll know my first ever designer glasses were Tom Fords and I’ll forever hold them dear to my heart.

These babies came from SmartBuyGlasses with super fast shipping - click HERE to check out their website.

You can find these 2018 Tom Ford sunglasses HERE

These Tom Ford babies would suit anyone and everyone! They are a wayfarer style in the shade tortoise and the lens are a brown shade. They are perfect all year round! Esp in winter with a cashmere caramel scarf or a long camel coat. I’m currently rocking these with my fringe and I’m obsessed!

PS. SmartBuyGlasses also have a two year warranty on all sunglasses!

Let me know what you think and don’t forget to subscribe (home page on the right)

Chat again soon honeys x

  • 1. These octagonal sunglasses came from Luna & Lucifer (@lunaandlucifer), an online NZ boutique. They are arrived super wonky and are shit quality. The boutique said they would arrive within two weeks and actually took over a month! They wouldn't reply to my emails/messages on Instagram and eventually said they wouldn't give me a refund. Wouldn't recommend this store!.
  • 2. These pink cat eye sunglasses came from Santee Alley, they feature in my Downtown LA vlog which will be up ASAP
  • 3/4/5 I got these off amazon for around $8 USD (12 NZD). I saw a bunch of boutiques in Aussie/NZ sell these for $50/$60 and I loved the look of them so I bought 3 different shades!
  • 6. I got these from a store along Venice beach for $5. They are super cute!
  • 7. These are my mums vintage Ray Bans that she gave me when I was little! They are from a collaboration with Bausch & Lomb
  • 8. These are my latest Ray Bans! I took in my basic round Ray Bans and got OPSM to put in polarized/prescription lenses. The ray bans cost around $245 and an extra $390 to put in the polarized prescription lenses
  • 9. These are discontinued polarized Ray Bans I got from Sunglass hut in Thousand Oaks, California. I got them for $126 NZD and they retailed $400 USD!
  • 10. These are my Porsche Design glasses from Sunglass Bar in Auckland, New Zealand
  • 11. These Celine’s are also from Sunglass Bar in Auckland, New Zealand
  • 12. These are my fav eye glasses from Ralph Lauren
  • 13. My first ever eyeglasses by Tom Ford
  • 14/15 Are my nanas/pops sunglasses!
  • 16. These sunglasses are from Nudax in Invercargill, New Zealand. I got these possibly about 10 years ago! They remind me of these YSL sunglasses so I just cant give them up!
