I know, it has been a few months since I updated this blog. I'm not really good with keeping blogs updated, and has always been like this. I will try to do my best to give you all an update about what have happened since the last time I wrote here. We are now in April, soon in May, can you believe how fast all this days and months are going. ๐Ÿ˜ณ To be honest, I often confuse the days and its hard to keep on track which date we are in haha. Don't really know if that is a sign of that I am getting old or anything else... ๐Ÿ˜จ

So what have happened since the last update the 19 of December 2016? Well, we had the new years party with the interns from human rights, ๐ŸŽ† it was very lovely and during the night after some glasses of champagne where we all loosen up and comfortable with each other. Danced the whole night, and in bed right after 8am. In December a lot of the girls and guys they left France to work somewhere else, Africa, Italy and etc. It got lonely, and to be honest its still lonely. The french people are not very good with connecting with other people, especially the girls and women. I could see that when I always where at the private english-french school, the mothers usually never ever spoke to anyone else, they where just focused about their own life, and if they talked they where mostly bragging about their new stuff they got or complaining about some other things until their kid came out to the main gate. Otherwise the male gender is easily to connect with, they are more open and speaks with you in a friendly way (sometimes). The female gender mostly just stares at you and give you the look that girls can give when they really don't want to have any outsider around. And this is horrible. But hey! Don't worry dear readers, I'm surviving this! ๐Ÿ˜œ What I mean is that I miss to have my best girlfriends around, the ones that you have amazing fun with, and do all the girl stuff with. ๐Ÿ’…

Otherwise if we go fast through everything its mostly that after January I stopped drinking and partying as often as I was used to do. God you can't believe how much alcohol the people is consuming here, it's the lifestyle, taking a glass of wine or two when you eat dinner, and if you go out its beers and at the party, bottles of champagne and vodka. I'm happy that I am raised in a country with no daily drinking. ๐Ÿ˜„ I meet a lot of new people, some very good people that I'm not seeing very often because of their jobs, but when we meet it's always good. Joined a lot of after works, brunches and a lot of bowling with my second half. Oohooo, did you miss that?? Well, sometimes when you don't expect love to happen it happens. A dear friend of mine wrote that I'm looking so happy, and yes he is right. After 2 years of a really horrible relationship with my last one am I finally sure about my J is the right one, and trust me He shows it every single day. ๐Ÿ’“ I hope that the people that love me, will be happy for me too and put their selfishness to the side. ๐ŸŒธ

So what is my conclusion about the life in Strasbourg, France so far? There is really not a lot to do, the city is full of bars, but thats mostly it. The clubs are not very good, and honestly it's a pretty boring lifestyle they have here... I need the sea, sun and the warmness. Things to do and activities where you meet people with interest as you or is interested in sharing their story with you would be great. I'm sure it will come, I'm not gonna stay forever in Strasbourg, that's for sure! Keep tight, maybe after some moths I will update again, haha! Anyway, thanks for reading and enjoy the pictures! ๐Ÿ’˜ ๐ŸŠ ๐ŸŒท

It's incredible how time passes by. Soon its time for christmas and next week we have the new year which is knocking on our doors. I don't know how your 2016 was, but I hope it teached you something good and that you grew strong from it. Life is not as easy as it seems sometimes, everyone will have a time in their life when life is testing us to see what we are going to do. Some people go through it easily, others don't, but the important thing is to never give up. As hard as it may seem to be, and impossible to recover and you don't see the light of happiness in the near, remember that you are strong and you can make it. 2016 has been a year full of changes for me, I left an unhealthy relationship, I traveled a lot, I broke hearts and I got my heart broken too. I gained new friends but I also lose some of them, because that is how life is. So now Iโ€™m here, in France, trying to put the pieces of my life together. I always thought I had control over life, and that everything could be planned, but thatโ€™s not how it is. You canโ€™t plan every step in your life because life is filled with ups and downs and things can change very quickly. As I always say, donโ€™t give up, trust yourself. Trust yourself even if you sometimes make decisions that makes you feel sad or broken. Have trust and faith in yourself when itโ€™s someone else that makes you sad and broken because you are the key to the happiness in your life.

France is such a beautiful place, I really love it here but itโ€™s soon time to say goodbye to this wonderful place and start something new. Maybe will I be back one day, maybe I will just look at the beautiful pictures and think about the life here. You never know, life is full with surprises and 2016 has been such a surprise year. You taught me well 2016, you taught me what I deserve, what people are like, how life is, you showed me wonderful places, cultures, food, you got me closer to my family. Thank you for the lesson 2016 even if you where tough, I'm very grateful for everything, may 2017 be a good year for me and for all of you out there.

Merry Christmas! ๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ„

With lots of love,

Strasbourg is a very beautiful city. It's full of charisma and character. The cathedrals, the water and the lovely buildings makes it so special. As a person who loves architecture and have an eye for details, is this just the right place for me to be. But even if it might be the right place for me, I can still feel like something is missing. There is a big piece missing for making this beautiful city perfect for me. I have no idea what yet, but I will figure it out. That's mostly the reason why I'm abroad. Abroad to find my feelings, find my place and who I am. Sometimes you get lost in your life, even if you have goals and is ambitious and know what you want is it easy to feel the feeling that there is something else there for you. And you know what, there is nothing wrong with being lost. Just get out there and find your missing piece again and try to live your life full without giving up. You will meet people you think has a big part in your life, but sometimes they don't. Take them away and concentrate on the positive things in life. When you are on a โ€missionโ€ like this, then there is nothing more important than your own wellbeing. Don't let people, bad love, or negative thoughts ruin your way to find the true happiness. The true happiness that only You have the power to create.
