Hey there and happy Friday!
Today I found some checkered and squared items for you as seen above. It's a pattern that I've been really into lately. I also wrote about the pretty pattern in this blog post a while ago and how it's something we're seeing coming up for spring season:) I'm especially crazy about the checkered suit from Zara above. Omg, and then paired with the yellow heels!!
If you're interested in reading more about styling all your checkered items as well, I wrote about MIXING PATTERNS here.
Hope you feel inspired and have a lovely weekend<33

I know it would sound better with "A TUESDAY TIP", but since it's Wednesday and therefore a little too late for that, I went with "A WEDNESDAY TIP";) Now, let's get to it. You may or may not have noticed it, but all of the items above are from the children's section of Mango, Zara and H&M (I couldn't think of any other brands with cool children's collections, so let me know your suggestions!). I just wanted to tip you about how many awesome accessories you are able to find going to the children's section instead of just the adult one. Personally, I can't fit in the clothes, haha, but you have a chance to find jewellery and accessories, that you probably won't see your friends and fashion icons wearing.
Hope you feel inspired:)
Yes, you heard right. In occasion of the last day of the #nouw30daychallenge I went all-in and made you the ultimate guide to wearing and styling Crocs. Whether they're back in the game and stylish or not is probably an endless discussion, but since the world has bigger problems to worry about, I think you should lean back and enjoy my Crocs guide;)
After I featured the foam shoes in my blog post last Friday, some of you have been responding "YESSSSSS!!!!" and some of you the opposite. But I think I'm ready to take over the trend this summer. Therefore the items featured below are also mostly for sunny and warm weather since crocs are full of holes and not really wearable for rainy days hahaha.
As you can see above, Crocs can be found in all colours and even be accessories with the "Jibbitz" charms, as they're called. They've been in the hands of designers before as in Christopher Kane's collaboration with the brand in 2017 (article about that here, if you're interested ), but we haven't seen anything like what Balenciaga has done before. They featured Crocs in their Spring Summer 2018 collection and the obvious difference from normal Crocs is, of course, the huge 130 mm platform, BUT the colour and charms combinations are also some important things to mention. And I'm thinking that's the way to go if you aren't really planning on spending 850$ on a pair of Crocs. Just get your hands on a pink 40€ pair and some cool charms and then you're good to go;)
And now to the styling part...
First of all, I would say to be careful with pairing crocs with hoodies and other saggy clothes. I mean, never say never but it could easily look like you didn't mean to wear Crocs as a necessarily stylish item. Go for some edgy denim like a skirt or pair of jeans, a printed tee, a windy summer dress or a tight top. They could even be dressed up for a festive evening with a glittery dress and some cool jewellery like beaded cherry earrings. Below are some of my personal recommendations<3
