No, I wouldnt say that we were partypeople during the trip to Nessebar. Angelica was pregnant and half way through our trip she fell ill. Just a cold, but still. She was obviouly contagious, cuz just a few days later we were all sick. The boys and I managed to keep it in check, but by the last days we were all pretty runned downand it stuck with us for a week and a half.
The glamorous life huh?
So we spent quite a few of our nights just chilling at either the top of the hotel looking at the view of old town Nessebar, or at the terrace of the room playing cards and just having a slow night. Dont get me wrong, we had a great trip, but it would have been even better if we would have felt better.
Getting sick while on a trip, thats the worst!
Have you ever been sick whilst on a vacation? And if so, how did you manage?
Once in a while, whilst walking the streets of old town Edinburgh, you stuble upon one of these magical sites. A colourful red staircase and a blue door amongst they greyish brown old buildings. Dont get me wrong, I dont just adore the greyish browns of Edinburgh, but the colours just bring a smile. And dont you just love the way people decorate their windowsills with flowers of the season?
The old windwill in Nessebar is one of the things that's on top of list to see of you google Nessbar in Bulgaria. You cant find much information about it, only that its from the Bulgarian Revival area.
If you are visiting the ancient UNESCO city of Nessebar, you really cant miss the old windmill since its located in between the new and old towns, so you'll pass it on you way. Its an instagramable icon for sure and its beautiful, but more than that... its just a windmill with its rough and basic style.
