a lifetime of us, adventures, anna

Hi friends,

Today I'm going to reveal a big announcement (I'll be going into further detail for those of you who already briefly heard the news)!
From a very early stage in our relationship, both Angelica and I shared the ambition to get our own place, settle down and have children sometime in the future. Of course, we never expected it to be possible any time soon. However, with the help from my parents, older brother, and grandparents, we are fortunately able to afford our own place in Sweden!

Random pictures from when we've previously been to Sweden!

Why Sweden, you ask? There are many different things that have influenced this decision. First of all, Angelica was born and raised in Sweden.

For those of you who don't already know, I met Angelica through Twitter in October 2014. She was living in Sweden at the time, and I was living here, in England. We became very close friends who spoke practically every day, all day. Late January we realised that what we had was so much more than just "friendship" and on the 27th of January 2015 we officially became a long distance couple. Luckily for us, we were able to meet for the first time on the 13th of February that same year! From that moment on, we flew back and forth to each other until Angel moved in with me and my family around May 2015!
So there's a quick overview of our relationship for you!

The first time/week we ever met in person!

I fell in love with Sweden from the very first time I visited. I have been there five times in the past year now. I just can't get enough of it! It's such a beautiful country. The food is amazing, the standard of living is very good, and I also find the language quite unique and interesting, which I intend to learn so that I can hopefully speak fluently with her family (and our future children, of course).

We went to a really beautiful lake in Sweden near Angel's dads house this time last summer!

We also think moving to Sweden will be a better opportunity for raising children when we finally start a family. They have a better education system, plus free university.

So that's just a few reasons as to why we have decided to move to Sweden instead of remaining in England. Angel has also mentioned it from her point of view over on her blog (she's even posted a few sneak peaks of the flat), so go check it out.

We're both so excited to begin this new chapter in our lives. It's the scariest, yet most amazing journey I have ever experienced so far and you're all welcome to join us along the way! We both plan on documenting the whole process through our blogs and YouTube channel so stay tuned for more updates!

xo, Anna
