Tänäänkin valitettavasti sataa luultavasti koko päivän. Olemme olleet hotellilla koko aamupäivän. Myöhemmin lähdetään syömään keskustaan ja ehkä etsimään pieniä tuliaisia Suomeen. Varasimme veneretken viimeiseksi päiväksi ennen kotiin lähtöä, joten pitäkäähän sormet ristissä, että sade ja tuuli on jo siihen mennessä ohittanut Vietnamin.
Ottakaa iisisti ja nauttikaa Tapaninpäivästä!
Hope you've all had a lovely christmas filled with tons of love & food. I crave Finnish christmas food & chocolate like crazy atm. Hopefully I'll get some when we go back home.
Our Christmas Eve had a little hint of bad luck. It was promised really good weather for Sunday and we decided to book a boat trip, but it was canceled because of the storm. At lunchtime, my boyfriend's food was never imported, even though we reminded of it at least three times and we were waiting for it about an hour. On top of all that, we did not realize to book a table early enough for the dinner, so the restaurants we would have wanted to eat on Christmas Eve were all full booked. Luckily, we got a table from the Spanish Itaca Restaurant, where we ate a very delicious marine tasting. We also found a really easy-going Rory's beach bar in this neighborhood, where we enjoyed a few drinks while admiring the sunset before dinner. After all the sun was shining all day and there was no sign of a storm yet. Our Christmas Eve did not seem so promising at first, but hey all's well that ends well!
On Christmas day, the rain began during the day and it increased towards the evening. However, we were able to visit the amazing Buddhist Ho Quoc Temple just before the rain. The temple is set in a beautiful location right next to the sea. I have not been to a Buddhist temple before, and the visit was totally worth it. What an atmosphere!
Today it's gonna probably rain the whole day. We've been at the hotel all morning. Later, we'll go to the center for dinner and maybe look for some souvenirs to Finland. We booked a boat trip for Thursday (last day before leaving home), so please keep your fingers crossed, so that the rain and the wind would have already passed by Vietnam.
Have a lovely day y'all!
