Hi friendos! Welcome back! Fall season is finally here, and as you may know, if you read my last post, I am super excited. Make sure to go and check it out if you haven't done it yet! :) Anyways, I have a few ideas on what kind of posts I want to upload during this fall season. Stay tuned for that! But today's post is going to be all about movie tips, songs, books and recipes for every single “fall lover” out there haha. First, let's begin with some of my favorite movies and series that you must watch this month!
The first one is an all-time classic! Hocus Pocus is really a must watch in October or on Halloween day. I remember that the first time I saw this movie, I must have been around six or seven years old. It was for sure around this season and I saw it on Disney Channel. I miss those days so much, coming home from school, doing my homework so fast so that afterwards, I could watch Disney Channel all evening. You can see the movie on Netflix! Tip go watch it, you won't be disappointed!
Then we have another classic, The nightmare before Christmas. This movie is so popular, especially in the US. If you have not seen it yet, go watch it with some friends, family, etc. It is a really good movie and I love watching it on Halloween with my siblings.
The third one is a series and let's be honest, who doesn't love Friends? Although I must admit, it is sooo long and it has so many seasons and episodes, but all of them are so good. It is worth it! My friends and I discussed the characters one day at school, and we started to pick sides between Chandler, Ross and Joey. So, what do ya say, who do you like the most? I have to say Joey, he is so funny and I just love the character in general. :) You can also watch this on Netfilx, yay! But there are some rumors going on that Netflix will delete it soon. Is this true or is it just a theory?
2. SongsSome of my favorite songs that I always have on repeat at the moment are:
1. Sweater weather with James Harris
2. Habits of my heart with Jaymes Young
3. Liar with Camila Cabello
4. Be honest with Jorja Smith
And lots of other songs. This list could literally get so long, because I love music and listening to music makes me so happy. If you are interested in hearing more songs that I like go check out my Spotify profile, where you also can find my fall playlist. *Click on the link*https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2eMRq238WU8UMstODtz0S0?si=TIG50-2_SRufltuqteHtng
Let's move on to the best part! FOOD! I have a few delicious recipes that I want to share with you! There are so many good fall desserts that taste amazing and are so easy to make! A year ago, I hated to cook or bake. My mom is the one with these kind of skills haha. But for real, mom is a pro when it comes to cooking and baking. One day I decided to take some notes and try to make these delicious desserts that she always makes, by myself. Keep on scrolling to see some of my favorites :)
First, we have hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon on top! My favorite! This is easy to make! You only need some milk, cocoa/ O’boy/ Nesquik etc. Then you either make the whipped cream by yourself or you can buy some and at the end put some cinnamon or sprinkles on top! Ok, let's move on to baking now....
This is a Romanian recipe, a delicious apple pie. Sometimes you can also add a little bit of cinnamon in it to make it taste even better. Of course, there are lots of different types of apple pies, but this is the one that I grew up with and that is why I prefer it the most. You should really try this recipe it is amazing! As many of you might know I come from Romania and back in the old days when I lived there, my grandma used to bake this for me all the time, because it is both mine and my mom's favorite dessert. Btw, I will put links for all the recipes down below, in case you want to bake them yourself.
Here we have a similar dessert but this one has pumpkin instead and it is a very tasty strudel. My mom bakes this all the time during the fall season. This one is my all-time favorite and I can't wait to eat this again soon, when my mom decides to bake it again. :)
This is the easiest one to make out of them all! This is a Swedish recipe, it is soo good and it does not take more than 30 mins to bake, I promise! These amazing cookies are called "kolakakor" in Swedish which means syrup cookies. They taste delightful and they are also very popular here. My little sister loves them, she always asks if I can bake them for her. <3
I baked some today, they were so tasty!
I also love to read, especially when it is raining outside or in the evening, after I get back from school and I can get all cozy and make some tea or hot chocolate and just read. GOALS! I am not an expert when it comes to books. I love to read many different kinds, I do not have any specific genres. But here are some tips.
1. Stephen King has amazing books that I love reading during the spooky season.
2. I also love to read Romanian books and for all my Romanian readers out there, "Fluturi" is one of my favorites, there are 3 volumes and all of them are so good!
3. The tenth girl, if you like scary books.
4. To all the boys I loved before series, there are 3 volumes and I really enjoyed reading them! You can also see the first movie that came out last year, and the second one will come soon on Netflix!! I cannot wait!
I hope that you liked today's post! I really enjoyed sharing some of my favorite fall recipes, movies, songs etc. with you! Stay tuned for the next post to read about more tips and fall related stuff! Also, how many times haven't I said "fall" in this, but also in my last post? #welovefall.
