8. Cry it out
When I was a little girl and I had a bad day, I remember what my mother said, "go and shout to the pillow." I don’t use it so often now, but I think that this method is very useful. Give your emotions a free rein. Don’t cry in silence. Throw it away so that it doesn’t explode at the least appropriate time.
9. Change the routine
Our brain is lazy and gets used to many things. It doesn’t like to strain and think. Surprise it with some change.
Rearrange something at home, change some setting, maybe you'll find more practical use of a cabinet or drawer. You certainly know this unique feeling when you set the alarm clock for the same time in the evening. Maybe it is worth changing something? One day to get up a little earlier, the second one later. One day take a bus, another day a tram, if sometimes let yourself to take a taxi, nothing will happen.
10. Spontaneous trips
Do travel, observe other cultures, try different food, change the environment. I'm not talking about long distance travels. I am thinking of a longer weekend trip in good company. Time in a different place flows completely differently and is a great escape from everyday life.
How do you like my suggestions?
Would you give me any other, your proven methods?
Or maybe routine is your oasis of security and allows you to lead a life arranged in peace? Let me know, I will be happy to know your point of view.
