Food Republic @ Siam Center. Big food court in the middle of the shopping district, near Paragon and Siam Center.
Less hustle and bustle if you compare to the food court in Terminal 21, BTS Asoke.
Chose a soup with egg noodles, shrimp wonton and crispy pork.

The food court here is on the top floor, letting in the sun. Much better than the food court in Paragon, which is in the basement and with 5 times as many people.
Good and not the cheapest but in no way the most expensive!

The Long Table... Situated in the Column Tower on soi 16 Sukhumvit Rd. Went there for an after shopping drink, just happened to be during Happy Hour.
So I took an Absolut Elyx South Beach.. Yummy! Sweet with a spicy after taste. And the view!!! WOW! Luckily I had only to take the elevator 12 floors up to my Executive Studio 😜

Breakfast... Woke up and realized I had 20 minutes left until they closed the breakfast!!! Ordered a ham and cheese omelette, good. They had already started to prepare to put everything away so most of the stuff was cold...
The view compensated most of it, but it is not ok! If something closes at 10 am then it closes at 10 am! Not earlier! I should know being in the type of business!

The Lapa, newly opened hotel in Hua Hin, Petchkasem Road, soi 102. Came here on Sunday and will stay here till next Sunday.
The main reason I chose this place was due to the restaurant, Andrea's. The chef/owner was the head chef of La Grappa in the center of town two years ago. After that he chose to open up his own place in this hotel. Stupid as I am, I somehow erased the pics of what I ate! But it was exquisite! Burrata with tomatoes and Parma ham, thinly sliced ham which melted on my tongue. The burrata, made here in Thailand was rich and creamy.

Then I went for their pizza Tartuffo, mozzarella, Parma ham, truffle crème and shaved black truffle. Fatto amore im bocca!!! Perfect way to start of my stay here in Hua Hin. Will be back here before I leave for the Big Mango, Bangkok.

The rooms here are spacious and clean. Nice details with the tiles in the bathroom which follow thru into the living area and by the entrance. Nice with the painting on the wall as well. (I like small details like that)

The pool area is ok but above standard regarding the size of the hotel. Sun time in pool area will be late morning until around 15:00, after that the sun goes behind the hotel. Nice with the small sandy area, but if you want the real thing then just cross the street and walk 100 meters....
