Oh my gosh I feel terrible for not updating in a while. I've been busy with school work and the final exam. I'll talk about that later.
Soooo... I'm finally 16! My birthday was the 14th November and if I was an typical American teenager, I would have gotten a car already. Unfortunately I'll have to follow the swedish rule and won't get my license till I'm 18. Although I'm allowed to take my permit while I'm here in the U.S, I cannot wait to take Drivers Ed next semester (after new year).
For those who's curious what I did on my birthday. My host family decided to take me up to the Smokey Mountain in Tennessee and to Gatlinburg for my sweet 16. Where we went to an indoor waterpark that was located not far from the hotel we were staying at, went Go-Karting where I almost lost my phone (haha) and visited Gatlinburg. The christmas decorations were up already in November and it was beautiful. I remembered when we walked down town and it was freezing cold! I only had a hoodie on, but I was used to it since I lived my whole life in Sweden. And as a birthday present from my host-parents I got a stuffed Black Bear who I named Barry Fluffy (It sounds like 'Very' Fluffy, i'm so cleaver haha).
The real birthday celebration was on the next wednesday. I got three gift cards from my host family, H&m and Victoria Secret. Honestly, I can never thank my family for this trip and planned my whole birthday. I had a great time at the Smokey's. I loved how my little brother said happy birthday to me once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once at night cause he didn't know when I was born. He's the cutest.
I can write a bunch more, but I'm saving you from all the details haha. I hope ya'll have a great sunday!
