1. Oreo Ice cream cake is bae!! 2. Go-karting. 3. My american homie Anna. 4. The wind was slapping my face hard. 5. Wilderness Indoor Water park. 6. Gatlinburg. 7. Me and my sissy. 8. The squad aka. my little brothers. 9. Barry Fluffy.

Oh my gosh I feel terrible for not updating in a while. I've been busy with school work and the final exam. I'll talk about that later.

Soooo... I'm finally 16! My birthday was the 14th November and if I was an typical American teenager, I would have gotten a car already. Unfortunately I'll have to follow the swedish rule and won't get my license till I'm 18. Although I'm allowed to take my permit while I'm here in the U.S, I cannot wait to take Drivers Ed next semester (after new year).

For those who's curious what I did on my birthday. My host family decided to take me up to the Smokey Mountain in Tennessee and to Gatlinburg for my sweet 16. Where we went to an indoor waterpark that was located not far from the hotel we were staying at, went Go-Karting where I almost lost my phone (haha) and visited Gatlinburg. The christmas decorations were up already in November and it was beautiful. I remembered when we walked down town and it was freezing cold! I only had a hoodie on, but I was used to it since I lived my whole life in Sweden. And as a birthday present from my host-parents I got a stuffed Black Bear who I named Barry Fluffy (It sounds like 'Very' Fluffy, i'm so cleaver haha).

The real birthday celebration was on the next wednesday. I got three gift cards from my host family, H&m and Victoria Secret. Honestly, I can never thank my family for this trip and planned my whole birthday. I had a great time at the Smokey's. I loved how my little brother said happy birthday to me once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once at night cause he didn't know when I was born. He's the cutest.

I can write a bunch more, but I'm saving you from all the details haha. I hope ya'll have a great sunday!

So yesterday was halloween (Happy late Halloween!)

Mom and Faith brought me a Minne Mouse skirt and headband so we could go out and trick or treat around the neighborhood behind school were most kids trick or treat. It was raining and the wind was blowing hard so we just went to a few houses and got home around nine. I usually don't wear skirts and I think this will be the absolute last time.

We ended the night with a movie - Mad Max Fury Road while eating the candy I got from trick or treating.

It will take a long time for me to forget this night. My first halloween in USA! And by the way, we are stepping in November which means I've been in the States for 3 months now. Time passes super fast and my experience here so far has been awesome! And I can't wait to celebrate my birthday which is the 14th. Turn up!

Okay so yesterday night as I said before Faith and I went to a haunted house called Insanitarium in Pinson with a bunch of other people including EF exchange students who live in Boaz and Albertville.

The haunted house was scary but I didn't think it was so scary to earn the 6th place on the "Scariest Haunted House in the State" chart. We went 8 people at the time so it actually made it less scary. The way was too small to walk side by side so we walked in line with our hands either around each others waist or on the shoulder. I grabbed on to Anna the whole time, we talked to the characters from time to time to make it less scary which actually helped. We weren't suppose to run inside but we couldn't help ourselves.

I don't really wanna spoil much what happens inside, just in case you might go there but prepare yourself for some scary things to happen in the end. Also when everything was done, me and Anna were sweating floods haha.

The whole gang went to Giovanni's for dinner before leaving. Oh the ride home was too much fun! We connected my phone to Anna's car and jammed to our favorite songs with high volume and windows wide open. Even Anna who was the driver couldn't resist to hit the quan, whip and nae nae. I think we really hit the rap of Look At Me Now lol.

Woke up this morning with sore throat, back, shoulder and head ached like crazy. Anyways, it was an awesome night with awesome company.

Went to the Cathedral caverns with dad and my brothers for e-learning. (e-learning is when you have a day off from school and get an assignment to do instead.)

Sup! I'm sorry for the terrible update! I'll try my best to update the blog every week.

We just came back to school from fall break and now we are in our 2/4 part of school, another 9 weeks before christmas break. Time here in America pass fast guys!

I learn something new everyday in school, I learn new words. I'm starting to understand the school system. And I get new friends every day. So basically every day brings a surprise. This thursday we even got our second report cards, five A's and 2 B's - turn up! Oh and just saying, there are really people who helps others making fake report cards, I find it so funny because I thought it only happens in movies.

Guntersville is a small town and there is not very much to do so my life after school is quite boring, hopefully it will get better. During fall break Jared, Rachel and I went to Huntsville with his family, it was fun. Huntsville has all my favorite shops, too bad it's like 45 minutes away. If you want to go the movies, you will have to drive to Boaz and shopping malls are in Huntsville. It sucks.

Anyways, Faith and I are going to a haunted house tonight with the exchange student group in Pinson, it's like two hours away. We'll probably come home around 1AM, hopefully mom will spare us and let us skip church.

Came home from school today and a package from home was delivered! I was sure my sister would send me some candy but little did I know she bought the whole freaking store lol! Of course Mark had to be the first one to try them and he seemed to love all of them except for the my favorite liquorice. Stinker!

In that package there was some warmer clothes for the cooler weather here in Alabama (sweaters, knitted and my sneakers etc.) Then I got a swedish measure cup, so I can cook for my family. Turn up! Also, to my surprise, I got the cutest gift from my sister. There were hand written letters and fun stuff in them. Each envelope had a theme on them. "Open this when... You are Bored." "Open this when... You need motivation." "Open this when... You are turning 16!" etc. I opened one of them that said. "Open this when... you are in USA." There were a sweet letter, some recipes, a small calendar with all big holidays in USA. I think that's the most sweetest thing my sister has done for me in deckades lol. Nah but she is the best!

I have to do my homework now while I'm eating my candy :) x.

I got to drive the John Deere today when we were doing some gardening work.

I can't believe I've been living in USA over a month now! It's still so unreal to me! I've got to say I'm loving this life right now! It doesn't feel weird to talk english 24/7 anymore.

My family really likes to stay at home on the weekends because they are all worn out after work etc. So yeah, I don't get to do much and there is literally nothing to do in Guntersville anyways. My best friend is out of town over the weekend so I can't hang out with him. I'm just laying on my bed texting him and snapchatting a few new friends I've made.

Just this morning me, my brothers and my host dad worked with the garden, to put out grass pallets. The funny part was when I got to drive the John Deere. Speaking of driving, I'm signed up for Drivers Ed at school, so I'll probably will take my license before I go back home to Sweden!

Anyway no school on monday cause it's Labor day! Turn up! We get out of school earlier because it's homecoming! Turn up!

Also, follow me on Instagram @yanyeeho, I post everyday!

Hi! I'm back!

Let's start off with the weekend! We went out to the Lake (Guntersville Lake) with my hostdad's boat and had a fun time tubing with my siblings and Skylar. We were only out for less than an hour, I miss it already! I was actually freaked out when they told me to lie on the tub since I'm afraid of water. But I guess I enjoyed it after being use to it AND of course it was because of the life jacket! Speaking of swimming! I'm going to take swimming classes from Seth who has a pool at his house, this should be interesting.

School is just like usual. I miss Swedish schools! So much! Here, we have homework and tests every week! Ugh. Another football game is this friday, if I got it right, it will be a football game every friday. So... guess who's not going? Meee!! It's so boring, I can't bare with it! You are just sitting there, letting the mosquito eat you up! Nah I don't like it.

Homecoming is next week, I have no idea what it is... people is making me confused haha. Is it a important football game or a prom like thing? If it's both, I ain't going that's for sure lol.

See ya x.
