Food

Can we say we are half way through the week?

Today consisted of food, food and more food! Starting with a beautiful afternoon tea or cute little desserts, sandwiches and other canapés with tea of course!

And for dinner an amazing BBQ burger, filled with cheese and bacon! Jack Daniels bbq sauce and chips/fries.

Sorry this post isn't that amazing but just enjoy the pictures of food i enjoyed throughout the day!

Life

Sundays are rest days. And I forever stick by it!, so today I literally stayed in doors all evening doing work and only left to pop to the shop to get some groceries for dinner! So there was a little rain on the way to the stores but nothing too bad! As for making the dinner (I just poured the wine)....

Tomorrow is the beginning of a new hard and hopefully not stressful week, but also the last week of November! But how was your weekend?

And can we also just appreciate how amazing the colours look outside my window?

Can we just appreciate that today is Friday!

After a stressful week of lecturers and exams, I think a glass of wine is well overdue! Tonight me and a couple of friends headed out to a little cute bar, had some appetisers and of course wine! Last year of university can be very stressful, even if you have a plan and I can honestly say that these last few weeks before christmas is really proving difficult.

All I can say is that 16-21 December could not come any quicker, I am in need of a weekend (or couple of days) away.

Best days are spent with those who appreciate your company!

So can I just express my happiness! This morning I was surprised by some beautiful gifts and flowers, to then be taken to wonderful seafood restaurant for lunch. Now I don't spend much time out here but when I do I am also amazed by what this country has to offer.

The day was spent in Maastricht, right by the south and border of Belgium, and who knows I may have some surprised to come about this city and what it will be offering me in a couple of months to come.

Food, Life

So today was almost like any other day, especially the eating! So this morning we started off we breakfast in Hilversum. One of the most best breakfast's I have probably ever had! *Bacon, egg and toast* And of course tea!

In the afternoon I of course had to buy trainers, I have never been a fan of Air Force but these captured my eyes and they looked amazing on so of they had to become part of my collection. The rest of day consisted of walking in and out of stores taking random unnecessary photos. And then of course before heading home I spotted a cute little cafe, and once again to go inside, unfortunately i do not have a picture of what it looked like inside however here's a little picture of pure honey being poured onto a cappuccino.

Travel

There's just too much to write about this country. I first fell in love with the place at the age of 12 maybe younger ... travelling with my dad during his job, I knew it was for me. I tend to go as many times as possible and every time I do I like to visit different cities.

The people, the nightlife, just everything about the place just draws me closer each time. And whenever I leave I am left with the thought of how i'm going to face reality and counting down the days for the next time I am going back.
