The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil
This is what I used to remove my makeup in the evening for the last couple weeks. First of all, the pump is really bad, it leaks & it annoys me so much. The oil smells nice but it does not take off mascara well (I'm not even using waterproof mascara!). I'll try using this up but I'm not very keen
Rituals: Ritual Of Dao Deodorant
I usually use the cheaper versions of this (Dove & Rexona) but they all smell so terrible so I decided to buy this instead. And the smell of this is amazing, this also protects from sweating and I absolutely love it!
The Body Shop Vitamin E Eyes Cube
This is an eye cream which you can apply like a lipbalm and to be honest, this was the only reason I why I bought this. I'm very lazy when it comes to using an eye cream which has now changed completely. This eye cream is also really cooling my skin around the eyes which never happened with eye creams I used previously. But the cream is glittery! And I'm not talking shimmery or something, these are big parts of glitter which you can see on your skin once you applied this cream. So I can only use this at night.
The Body Shop All In One Concealer
I looove the consistency and the fact that this does not crease at all or looks unnatural on my skin. But the colour is too pink and dark for me so I cannot use this right now. Maybe this will fit better in the summer but we'll see.
The Body Shop Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
This is actually the only thing in this haul that I haven't tried already. But I've heard so many people talking about this and loving it, hopefully I'll like it as well.
After loving the Cocoa Blend Palette I was most excited when I saw the new Zoeva Palettes. I decided to get the Caramel Melange Palette rather than the White Infusion one. And I'm a fan of this. The colours are outstanding, great pigmentation and the price is also really good. You get 10 eyeshadow shades (4 shimmers and 6 mattes) for ~20€ which is amazing! I also love the packaging which is slim and light.
But I would’ve liked the book so much more if there were chapters written in Wren’s point of view. At first, I thought Cath’s social anxiety and awkwardness was very relatable and real but then she got boring, she didn’t change/develop at all and she was annoying. Wren’s thoughts would’ve added something more interesting to the plot.
When it comes to Wren, I think her progress in her relationship towards fandom is much more relatable than Cath’s. Personally, I feel like Cath is the 14 year old me (I never really read or even wrote fan fiction though) and Wren is much more like me today – a bit more passive but there’s definitely still a fangirl inside.
I think I would’ve enjoyed this more if I read this 5 years ago, it’s still a sweet story but unfortunately, I don’t really get the hype.
