Right, so last Sunday I promised a game review would be up soon but I've had the most exhausting week! I've worked 7 days in a row and been to the gym 5 times on top of that, so last night during my final shift before Easter weekend my body basically told me "enough it enough". I got the worst migraine ever which included the most intense aura beforehand and I was incapable of doing anything at all for at least an hour 😓 Anyway, I HAVE finished the draft of my review - it just needs a few tweaks and it will be complete! Can't wait to finally publish it! Also my tattoos have been brought forward to next Tuesday rather than next month so yay!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Easter and eats their weight in chocolate!

Game review will be published after the weekend! 😁

Not sure where to begin...

So, I know most game reviews are posted maybe a week or so after the game is initially released, but since I'm pretty new to this I figured I could just start off by reviewing some well known games I've played before? Is that even a thing? I dunno but I'm gonna go ahead and do that anyway. I've been working full-time in a game shop in Leeds for the past 18 months and I love it, so getting hold of new releases fresh off the shelf shouldn't be much of a problem! 😜 This also means I've been able to play a lot of games over this period of time as well so I have plenty to talk about.

I think I'm going to begin with a fairly recent game which was first released back in October 2015. I played it on PlayStation 4 and the title is Adventure Time Finn and Jake Investigations - which is the newest in the series and the first to be released on next generation consoles.

Stay tuned for my first review. I plan to have it posted over the next couple of days!

Hey!
Before I get started I'd just like to mention I've never had a blog before and this is all a little new to me so if you could bear with me for the first few posts that would be fab :') Sorry if it seems a bit basic.

Anyway, my name is Dannielle, I'm 22 years old and I'm currently living in a city called Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. In 2015 I completed my course studying Animal Management at a college in York and I now have a BSc (Hons) Degree. I chose to study this subject because I adore animals - it's as simple as that! My dream job would be to work as a Marine Biologist or Researcher, and so I must now look into learning to scuba dive as this would be a valuable asset to help me to progress in the career I so wish to pursue.

While we are on the subject of animals - I have two long-haired chihuahuas! These critters mean the absolute world to me and I treat them as if they were my babies. The oldest is Eevee (and yes she was named after the pokemon), who turned one year old back in January. She's the cute, quiet one and loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa with a blanket and some snackies. She is sable in colour, foxy looking and very fluffy! My newest addition is the very aptly named Gizmo, who I received as a birthday present from my boyfriend back in October. He's just turned 6 months old and he is a little gremlin! Whilst Eevee may be sweet and angelic, Gizmo is the complete opposite. He's vocal and mischievous and never stays still. He's lilac-tan in colour and has beautiful big blue eyes - a rare trait in chihuahuas. They both have amazing personalities - meaning they bounce off each other quite a lot - and I feel so lucky to have such perfect puppers. I'm sure there will be more posts to come about these two (I've added a cute photo at the bottom!)

Another great topic I could talk about for hours is tattoos. I absolutely love them and have a small growing collection myself. I have a large fox on my right thigh and a red panda on the other. These I plan to extend next month and so I'll add photos in time to show you. :) I also have a cupcake on the back of my right calf, which has been done in a steampunky style, with a peacock feather up the side and some goggles and cogs - again I'll most likely add photos later on, and do more posts/videos about them.

Gaming is something else I am passionate about! I created this blog with the main intention to post various reviews and walkthroughs regarding video games I have played. I own a number of different consoles including PS4, PS3, PS2, PS Vita, Wii U, and 3DS, so pretty much any game is likely to come up ^_^ As I get used to writing my posts and reviews I'll ask if there's any particular games that you want me to review and I'll see if it's possible! :)
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and read my first post, it means a lot. I'll try to post at least 3/4 times a week if I can, so stay tuned for the first review!
Thanks again! :)
