This is my interior design for a living space which incorporates inspiration from Chalet architecture and design and modern city living. My envision for this design was to use logs, fur and warmth with a modern cool and almost shiny industrial effect to incorporate a chic chalet interior with a modern twist.

My inspiration for this was Chalet's with swimming pools. I have always loved how the exterior wood is carried into the interior space surrounding the glistening blue water that to me resembles crystals, which is why i incorporate the modern, crystal light fittings with antique logs, wood panelling and fir..

Grey for me is definitely a favourite to incorporate among designs at the moment whether that is through dark grey walls or a light grey sofa. I feel grey is a staple colour that works in any space.

This is my design for a bedroom with grey walls and headboard with colour being brought in through the incorporation of coloured pillows displayed onto a crisp white duvet. With out a doubt I absolutely love the blue, orange and coral colour combination with the grey and I would also incorporate some yellow features into this design. The coral and tie die inspired pillows are a personal favourite and give off a chic yet summer vibe too.

I spotted Le Royal Monceau- Raffles Paris bathroom featured on Thylane Blondeau instagram story and it instantly caught my eye. The clean marble with the chrome metal sink and cabinet and the open glass shower create a modern bathroom with to me is very chic.

The Chalet style has always been one of my absolute favourites. I love connecting antique wood with modern fittings. I think it gives a very chic and complete look.

Grey is one of my absolute favourite wall or kitchen paint colours at the moment. A dark grey wall or kitchen complemented with fresh white and gold elements, gives a very complete and finished look with a cooling effect.

Bonjour Blog, after being a little absent from VPmode I am back. My last few days have been very busy but full of fun. I spent this past weekend in the beautiful Lake District with Andrew, Kate, Neville, Angus, Anna, Lizzie, Nick, Jan and Ian and went 'supping' or paddle boarding in the sun and enjoying being by the lake. How I long for this beautiful sunny and fun filled day again as I look out the window to rain. Where has summer gone?

We then spent the evening enjoy a delicious terrace meal complete with Camembert all together, played table tennis and enjoyed being all together around the fire pit. I had such a wonderful weekend.

I will leave you VPmode with pictures by the Lake and with a little hint to my next post... Interior!

Missoni is with out a doubt a perfect fun and bright pattern for any summer outfit. I have found the most perfect Missoni Inspired swimwear from H&M featured above. The blue, white, purple and green pattern by H&M is such a good inspiration of Missoni's iconic funky zig zag, which I definitely want for this summer's swimwear.

A look inside my Anya Hindmarch

Beauty

1. CHANEL 'Soleil Tan De Chanel' (ca £39) - I would highly recommend this bronzer as it not only gives a natural looking tan but also it seems to never run out. The 30g round pot of sun offers a glorious looking bronzed finish, making my face feel like it has been tanning in the Côte d'Azur all year round.

2. Chloé 'Eau de Parfum' (ca £68) - I use this fragrance everyday and to me it brings a fresh and floral scent. I would highly recommend this chic fragrance as it is perfect for any occasion.

3. CHANEL 'Crayon Sourcils' (ca £20) - My eyebrows are very fair as I have blonde hair so this Chanel eyebrow pencil with brush in the colour Blond Clair is the perfect colour for me to enhance and sculpt my eyebrows with them looking very natural.

4. CHANEL 'Le Volume de Chanel' (ca £26) - Love using this mascara in Noir 10 as it lengthens my eye lashes without clumping them together as I do not like when mascara's leave large black lumps. I prefer the natural look for mascara which this provides.

5. Essie Nail Polish (ca £7.99) - I have always loved these colours of Essie nail polish and the brush as it fits my nails perfectly while the colour is long lasting.

Skin Care

1. Bio Oil (ca £9.99) - This product is revolutionary. After being introduced to it by my boyfriend Andrew I have never stopped using it for over three years now. It transformed my skin and has cleared up and prevented spots and other outbreaks on my skin. It is if any product could be perfect... PERFECT!. I am planning on doing a step by step skin routine which I will feature more information on Bio Oil and how I use it.

2. Bioderma 'Sensibio H20' (ca £10.83) - I always use this product to clean my make up off both my face and eyes. it leaves my face feeling very clean and fresh and is good for sensitive skin.

3. Clarins ' Déodorant Role On Gentle Care Anti Perspirant ' (ca £19.50) - After using spray on deodorant I wanted to try role on and I will never go back. This gives of a fresh scent while providing excellent coverage all day. I would highly recommend even though it is a little pricey it lasts for a long time.
